I bought mine from Suffolk seeds as I know they are reliable and virus free. They are going in a bed I grew potatoes in this year, so will be well manured. I like to get them planted Oct/Nov time. Traditionally you planted them on the shortest day and harvested them on the longest day

Morning, back is feeling a little tender after yesterday's chiropractor visit, a few bits were out of alignment but now back in place, will be OK in a couple of days. Dealing with the very last of the 🍅 today, it's been a good harvest, garlic arrived yesterday, so that's to plant out soon. HAGD all

Normally they don't affect me, but this one has, shows it's working. There is a lovely red patch on the top of my arm where the injection site is and it itches, but this is far more preferable to getting shingles, friend was hospitalised when she got it

Morning all, should have been taking my sewing machine in for a service but the arrival of a baby, a week early means its been rescheduled to the end of the month, as it rained yesterday, an extra day on the allotment. Shingles injection went OK, no side effects but my arm does feel bruised HAGD

I have a dehydrator, so I dry them in that, takes about 12 to 14 hours. I used them in teas and are good for upset stomachs. With having such a big allotment we try to be as self reliant as possible

Morning all, 5 x 400gms of 🍅 paste in the freezer yesterday, more fruit leather in the dehydrator so a productive day. This morning off to the allotment no doubt more 🍅s will be ripe, spuds to dig up, compost to spread and beds to cover ready for the winter. HAGD everyone

Morning all, very busy RNLI coffee morning yesterday, though the corned beef pie wasn't up to it's usual standard, still nice though.
