Morning all, down to 1 pumpkin on the allotment, last of the beans picked. Made a load of 🍅 puree which is now in the freezer. Back to the allotment today to cut back some herbs so they don't self seed everywhere. Also suitcase to pack as off to visit friend for 3 days tomorrow HAGD

Morning all, car passed it's MOT no problem, all good for another year. The quilt I got layered up yesterday and photo of backing material, which I think compliments it so well. Made a fruit leather yesterday, never made it before but interesting way to preserved fruit. Raining most of the day. HAGD

Morning, up and breakfasted, builders back this mornjng to finish of the wall. Yesterday's allotment haul, 3kg of climbing beans. We did water them twice a week, and it has paid off. Whilst OH supervise the builders off todig up spuds & cabbage for tea. HAGD everyone

Morning all, 1/2 the onions pulled, not looking too bad considering the white rot problem. Hubby is chopping them up to go in the freezer so we keep the crop. Builders arrive today to move a gate in the back garden wall, means easier access to the garage & not fighting round the cars. HAGD everyone

Morning all, picked 2.3kg of strawberries yesterday, ate some, gave some to our neighbour, the rest in the dehydrator so the house smells of strawberries. Looks like we have Allium White Fungus on the onions, which means we can't grow onions, leeks or garlic on that part of the allotment for at

Good morning, rain again today. This is what I made at my Tuesday quilt class. Today off to start on a quilt for my friend's 70th birthday in August, so that will be fun. Yesterday the solar panel guy came and added another battery to our system so we now have 11.5kw of storage.
