With Riposte! And Cellblock 18 moving towards production, let's talk about our next games. David has been working on a 2+ player game. Each player has 8 double ended Path cards and a character card. Currently it's loosely WW2 aerial combat, but what other themes would you folks find interesting?

So right now we are running a campaign on Backerkit. It's an experiment in a few ways. For one thing, this is our first time to have no stretch goals. The game is simple and doesn't really need them, so we are going without. What do other creators think: do stretch goals still motivate backers?

Mirror Agents is a great game, but we definitely failed to find our audience. It's humbling to cancel a crowdfunding campaign, but I'm glad we are in a place where we can put this one on hold without the company collapsing. We continue to live, learn, and move forward with other projects.

I went into a game shop in Buenos Aires yesterday and asked them for something I can't find in the US. I found this game called Valdés which has these beautiful watercolor illustrations of Patagonian animals. This was a very cool find. #boardgames #cardgames #argentina

So very close to launching Mirror Agents on Kickstarter. I started the design journey on this one in 2017, and its gone thorugh alot of changes and had periods of sitting in the closet while i worked on other things, but it was worth it for whats shaping up to be a beautiful release.

We had a great time at TokenCon last weekend. The highlight was how well-received Mirror Agents was. I always get nervous when we get close to a Kickstarter launch, but it is incredibly validating to see people play and enjoy a game I worked on. @tentagil.bsky.social knocked it out of the park.

I've watched the first season of Tulsa King and the first two episodes of The Lowdown. I have to say, it is VERY apparent when a writer or director actually knows the people and places they are making shows about and when they don't. The Lowdown feels like Tulsa.
