The inimitable Maurice Noble! There's an amazing book about his style of backgrounds written by one of his students, I'd definitely recommend it if you have space on your art book shelf! It's called The Noble Approach

You can write scripts in JavaScript too! I've done some heavy lifting in illustrator with that. Documentation is pretty bad though

Confuzzled sketch #4 @damiantanuki.bsky.social and @regdeh.bsky.social hosted an awesome toon room party where we watched old cartoons. Every time something toony happened on screen Damian would shout "They're doing that to @willmofield.toonworks.ink tomorrow!", much to everyone's (?) delight!
