Two security researchers shipped me a pink plastic kid's smartwatch from Amazon. When I wore it, they tracked my movements, surreptitiously took photos of me, even listened to my conversations. The same backend they hacked is used by 30+ watch brands for kids. 🧵👇 www.wired.com/story/hacker...

Suicide rear doors create a massive opening, and there is some kind of drop-down step so you can get up into the cabin. The front quarter view of the Dongfeng electric pickup,, which has the kinds of actual styling elements that the Cybertruck doesn't. It also combines flat lines with curved elements, to create a cyberpunk look that isn't amateurish in its uncompromising starkness. The high beltline and small greenhouse are still dystopian, but in a more polished, complete way.The tent awning off the back of the rear bed of the Dongfeng electric truck isn't wildly impressive, but at least it's not a $3k accessory like the overpriced Cybertruck tent. The bed is also small and impractical, but it doesn't look like a dumpster so it has that going for it.The interior of the Dongfeng electric pickup is clearly inspired by the Cybertruck's minimalist interior, but it still has things like grab handles and the seats are nicely styled so it looks tough and dystopian and not like the bathroom of a cheap nightclub.
