I'm about to commit, perhaps, a sin. But I've been thinking about it for days and I need to know.

Just in case anyone has forgotten that graphic design people do crimes.

@thebandcake.bsky.social Some of the music Tidal has under your band's page is... unfamiliar. I just got a notification for your new single that I hadn't heard about. Wondering if you heard about it either.

Flying a plane is like sailing a ship, except that if you're gonna hit something, "up" is also an option. Heh, heh. Oh, you've never sailed a ship? Hold this for a second, I have to pee.

Ah yes An octagon
A decorative golden frame of a dodecahedron, a shape with 12 faces, each of which is a pentagon. Somehow, Marshall's has catalogued this object as an octagon.

@henryseg.bsky.social I made this at least a year ago, and I was going to reach out to you after making a video about it, but that video hasn't materialized. Thread
Image text reads "The platonic solids according to the program I just wrote" and displays a grid of 3d shapes of increasing numbers of sides from 4 at the left to twenty on the right.

My first Boston intersection on arrival as a resident 😍
Screenshot of navigation in Google maps at a Really Truly Awful intersection. There are three directions to choose from if you are in the left lane, and one of them appears to be backward, although there are four roads to take from the left lane so it's unclear which of them is not included in the options. The highlighted course of action is to go straight while cutting across two lanes of traffic.

I wonder if BGE asked the training datacenters for LLMs to cool it as well, or just the customers whose health might permit turning off their AC.

Okay I really support the vision here - the "Income to Support All Foundation" is advocating for UBI, and they support projects that could prove the feasibility/benefit of UBI. At a glance, some of their results are really impressive. But is it really a foundation? Look no further:

Secondly, I'm still excitable. But this was written with the confidence of someone who had not yet discovered ✨️depression✨️
Prompt: I guarantee you that...
Response: You will see me be excited about lame things. I am simply excitable. Some call that enthusiasm. Whatever you call it, it's the status quo and it's not going.

For a long time, I had (in the words of Sir Terry Pratchett) "more mechanical aptitude than imagination." I'm still in recovery. This piece is the result of a handful of nights over many weeks where I sat down and said "just cut *something*." 🧶
A piece of white cardstock stuck up on a brick wall. It has a variety of shapes cut out of it. We've got hexagons, triangles, arcs, parallelograms, swoops, little whoopy do's, lines, and a maze-looking squiggly thing towards the bottom. The shapes are all lined up in ways that give the false impression that I had a plan or otherwise knew what I was doing. There are pop-up sort of 3d bits hanging off near the bottom. In my head they were cool but they just look like skin tags... let's call this piece an exercise.

My favorite sticker for a long time has been "History is written by those who `git push --force`" So true 😁 But also I wish it were that easy
Many stickers on a Mac laptop.
- Oregon Downpour written on an umbrella with rainbow text
- an icon akin to the Star Wars the Clone Wars logo, reading MAY STACK OVERFLOW BE WITH YOU
- A fish illustration that says PYLE
- A highly detailed Raven sitting on a fruit branch, with a berry hanging from its break by the stem
- A square broken up into four quadrants with the letters CODE
- a mailbox with the flag up and flowers blossoming out the open hatch that reads SEND MORE MAIL
- The green circle logo of the open source initiative
- Text reading "History is written by those who git push --force"

Inspired by the Kids on Bikes ruleset #TTRPG
At the top, a sliver of a screenshot of a TTRPG rulebook reads: "Physical Damage: Physical attacks are more direct combat, either a fistfight or, if things have gone really bad, knives and bats."
Below, taking up the majority of space in the image, is a drawing of three bats in flight, each with a sharp knife hanging from their feet. Handwritten texts read: "Knives and bats. Things have gotten really bad."

I've made myself a new firefox profile exclusively to watch the live stream of the penguins at the San Diego Zoo on my mini monitor. The separate profile separates the taskbar icon from the browser windows I'm actually using. The home page is the penguins.
A tiny 7 inch monitor, with a much larger monitor in the background, displays some penguins hanging out in a group among some large rocks at the San Diego Zoo.
