I'm performing in Philly on Jan 22 with Sunken Cages, Ishtar SR, and gen/loss. Come hear the latest business.

New addition to the studio. Things are sounding much more clean and balanced now. Totally worth it if you can't afford expensive monitors and room treatments.

Very much enjoying this. One of those books where I want to highlight every other sentence and send copies to all my artist friends.

Released today: William Fields & Synalegg - Illcom [EVEL] evel.bandcamp.com/album/illcom I feel like this one really tells a story. There is a narrative unfolding. I'm also very pleased with the dynamics, spaciousness, and depth of the sound. I hope you enjoy!

Bu what does Weierstrass’ Monster *sound* like? "He built it by adding together infinitely many wavelike “cosine” functions. The more terms he added, the more his function zigzagged" — until ultimately, it changed direction abruptly at every point" www.quantamagazine.org/the-jagged-m...

Had a great time performing at KLIPXXI last night in Philadelphia. The visuals from Klip Collective were amazing as usual.

Performing a short set in Philly on Friday. Planning to play 100bpm, continuously mixed, 12-TET, melodic, tempo-synced delays, pads... pretty stuff :)

I'll be playing a special ambient set (as Beck-Fields) with my good friend and incredible musician/singer Jeremy Beck at Passages in Philadelphia on February 17. Passages is held in a beautiful church, with gorgeous projections covering the walls and ceiling. Very classy event.

Enjoying Scavenger's Reign so far. Beautiful Moebius-style animation. Super-creative world/creature-building. Really nice music and sound design. Recommended.
