to tie the game together, there's a little story mode! story mode runs across five days, and you can spend your earnings with Saul on various power-ups. There's two endings -- good and bad. plus, a tutorial to teach you how to play.

there's also in-game achievements, naturally in the form of hank's minerals. you get them from completing certain challenges! (there are 12 in total!)

I built this with a layer-cake of various homebrew libraries from 20 years of nintendo ds development! sitting at the bottom is devKitARM and libnds. above those two I use two main libraries for graphics: NightFoxLib (for 2d - bottom screen) & nitro-engine for 3d (top screen)!
