I used to root for bad sports teams. I still do too. Probably talking about DC sports. || Still trying to get the nerve up to record an album.

Some of you may already know, but I’m on the board for the Sophia Ruggieri Memorial Foundation; a non-profit founded in my sister-in-law’s honor for kids with Type 1 Diabetes In our first year, we raised over $70k and gave out a scholarship. We truly couldn’t have done it without y’alls support 🙌🏻

As long as DC isn’t giving up any of their future 1sts, I’m totally fine with the FO doing whatever they need to get their guy. We basically got the MEM 1st for free anyway Bagley, Johnny Davis, ‘25 2nd 🔄 Smart, Colby Jones, 18th overall If we can use that ammo to trade up for a top 5 pick, do it

4. PROJECTED TRADE:
WASHINGTON WIZARDS
Ace Bailey | 6-8 wing/forward | 18 years old | Rutgers
(Wizards trade No. 6 and No. 18 to Sixers for No. 4 and Eric Gordon)
Again, I project the Sixers trade down. Why would the Wizards jump the Utah Jazz for No. 6? It's hard to figure out what the Jazz will do at No. 5. With a new key decision-maker in Austin Ainge, league sources want to see how he operates after nearly 15 years in the Boston Celtics' front office. So if Washington wants a certain player, it will probably need to jump Utah (and any other team that would be talking trade with Philadelphia in this instance). The price point here is No. 18 and taking the Gordon deal into the trade exception that the Wizards created in the Johnny Davis deal at the deadline. It's not small, but it's a worthwhile move if they love someone, and the Wizards have several young players on rookie-scale deals on the roster already in Alex Sarr, Bub Carrington, Bilal Coulibaly, AJ Johnson and Kyshawn George.

This has to be the absolute dumbest draft lottery result in NBA history. DAL, SA, and PHI all getting top 3 picks while UTA, WAS, CHA, and BKN fall outside of it. Ah yes, just what the NBA needed; the two top prospects in the 2025 draft going to playoff caliber teams in the West. I’m speechless.

Wizards will select at 18th overall in the draft. Washington acquired that pick from Memphis at the deadline in the Marcus Smart trade — the Grizzlies would then drop from 2nd to 8th in the Western Conference standings. Quite literally the best case scenario for Washington.

The Jazz just pulled an OT win out of their ass to lose sole possession of the worst record in the league and potentially move their floor from 5th to 6th overall. Let me be the first to say thank you, Utah. You fools. You morons. You imbeciles.

Kyle Kuzma managed to have a -$1.5M production value. I was gonna use the word “somehow”, but unfortunately I know exactly how. The only thing less surprising than Kuz’s negative value is seeing Beal on the top of the worst injury contracts list. Cant believe the Wizards traded BOTH for +++ assets

“Free Beal” in 2022: A lighthearted taunt from Suns fans who believed the Wizards were squandering Bradley Beal’s talent. “Free Beal” in 2025: A bloodcurdling plea from Suns fans that are trapped under the tyranny of Brad & his NTC. Their screams of agony are met with a chorus of laughter.

Between this quote and the one from AJ saying he believes he has “superstar” potential, this is the exact type of mentality that’s been missing from this team for so long. If you take a second to look beyond the record, you’ll see that a new culture has started to take root within DC’s locker room.

Do the Wizards have the deepest young core in the league? Alex Sarr (19) Bub Carrington (19) Kyshawn George (21) AJ Johnson (20) Bilal Coulibaly (20) Colby Jones (22) Justin Champagnie (23) Saddiq Bey (25) Jordan Poole (25) Still missing their 1A or franchise centerpiece, but this is pretty nice.
