Terrific show last night in Montréal by Florry. This is a good band, loose but right on the mark at the same time.

WOW Someone posted the Blue Note 2LP test pressing of Ornette's 1962 Town Hall show. This side was omitted from the ESP-Disk release that resulted from O.C. giving up and signing it over to Bernard Stollman for single disc release at a nominal flat fee youtu.be/su_o2BUHgiM

YOU WOULDN'T BE ANNOYED AFTER SPENDING THOUSANDS OF YEARS PREACHING PEACE LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE TO DISCOVER THAT SUPLEX SLAMS ARE WHERE IT'S AT THEN HUH qwantz.com/index.php?co...

T-Rex: So a bunch of religions insist theirs is the only CORRECT one, and that the other religions are wrong. Sure! Fine! Makes sense! But how come there's not religions that claim the others are ALSO correct...

T-Rex: ...but that THEIR god can beat up YOUR god??

Dromiceiomimus: T-Rex over here, inventing polytheism from first principles!
T-Rex: No, that's different! What I'm proposing is a religion that says even the OTHER religions are just as true, but that their god OR GODS are weaker than the ones they believe in!

Utahraptor: T-Rex over here, inventing omnism from first principles!
T-Rex: No, that's different too!

T-Rex: Omnism is a belief in ALL religions. What I want is that, PLUS the belief that their own god is PHYSICALLY THE STRONGEST. The belief MUST be that sure, other gods exist, but THEIR god can physically suplex all the other gods. Like in Wrestlemania!
T-Rex: The suplexing is NOT a metaphor.

God: T-REX THERE IS NOT A SINGLE RELIGIOUS TEXT THAT INCLUDES THE PHRASE "LIKE IN WRESTLEMANIA!" SO YOU MAY HAVE COME UP WITH SOMETHING NEW HERE
T-Rex: Thanks, broseph!
God: WEIRD TIME TO CALL ME BROSEPH BUT
God: WHATEVER

i try to not take the position of consumer guide (buy this not that etc) but i promise you can have a meaningful relationship w music w/o a streaming service. spend the $ buying music instead - directly from artists or independent labels/retailers, mp3s or physical. build a library. + local radio.
