A good friend of mine knew how much I'd been eyeing this set and gifted me several of them. I'm so very thankful and was genuinely surprised. I need to strive for this level of generosity. #TMNT #GIJOE #Actionfigures #Figures

Recently I finished Carrie, Stephen King’s debut novel. I’d seen the film ages ago and wanted to check the book out to get a feel for King’s first big work and see how different the source material might be, but this one seems quite faithful (from what I remember).

I finished reading The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis this month. This is the first time I've gone through all seven books since I was much younger, and reading them as an adult was a very different experience.

Let's look at the retirement party for one of gaming's best, Nathan Drake. I talked about how Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was an amazing conclusion for this character. - store.epicgames.com/en-US/news/c...

I finished reading Batman: Revolution by John Jackson Miller, which is the follow-up to Batman: Resurrection, two stories that take place in the 1989 Tim Burton universe and act as a duology to bridge the gap between the films.

I just finished The Long Walk by Stephen King, or, we can call it my first Richard Bachman book. King talks about that phase like he was writing as a slightly different person, and I kind of get it now. This book has a simple premise, a good dark one.

I finished reading Zack Morris Lied 329 Times! by Matt Pais. This is like a Saved by the Bell textbook, a work that goes over each episode in Good Morning Miss Bliss, the main show, and The College Years, breaking down all of Zack's lies, his intentions,

I recently read the novelization of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, by Jerome Preisler. I wasn't expecting much, but had heard the text expands some scenes, offers a slightly different death for Johnny Cage, and part of me was curious if it could help this black sheep of a beloved franchise.

I just finished reading Die Hard With A Vengeance, a novelization of the film, written by Deborah Chiel, based on an earlier version of the screenplay by Jonathan Hensleigh. Thusly, the book has the original ending, involving the rocket launcher,

I recently finished MOX by Jon Moxley. It's about his experiences as a wrestler, but he also takes a few words to share jokes, movie picks, and explain how much he loves Lana Del Rey in between chapters.

Alright, I finished reading NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. This book is incredibly creative and has a solid, dark narrative. There are some interesting (as well as annoying) characters and an enjoyable ending, plus it does something fun with the closing credits.

I finished reading Press Reset: Ruin and Recovery in the Video Game Industry by Jason Schreier. This is a book about the bad parts of being a game developer, the times when the studio is shut down and all of that hard work just disappears, usually without any compensation.

Finished The Fatal Frontier by Matt Vancil, an excellent sci-fi adventure about a series of unfortunate events that affect a group of quad-mates stationed aboard the Starship Independence. It's a dystopian world close to Starship Troopers (the movie) and Helldivers, with twisted Star Trek elements.
