Many thanks to Kurt Morris for this review of my zine "Indoor Thoughts" for Razorcake! It's incredibly validating for me because it's some of my most vulnerable writing to date. ♥️♥️
Image description: Close-up photo of a printed review of the zine *Indoor Thoughts*. The review describes the zine’s short essays about illness and writing, including the author’s experiences with ADHD, masking, keratoconus and impaired vision, and journaling as a way to process illness. The reviewer, Kurt Morris, writes positively about the zine and recommends it to readers who connect with these themes.

Red, hand-drawn flyer with a collage border made of black-and-white newspaper clippings. Large black marker text reads “DePaul Zinefest.” Below it: “Open to the public!” and “@depaulzinesters on IG.” Event details read: “Saturday, January 31st, 12:30–6:00 PM.” Location: “DePaul University Student Center, Room 120 AB, 2250 N Sheffield Ave.” Small cut-out images of animals, including penguins, a polar bear, a spider, and a mouse, are scattered around the edges

A small zine titled “Stuff I Ate in Japan: a photoessay.” The cover shows a close-up of a gray, bumpy dessert shaped like a cluster of soft domes, with a small cookie on top.

Rough Draft #10 is out now! We’re talking 2026 resolutions: art as a side quest, learning without “deluxe finished product” pressure, midlife career pivots, being terrified all the time, bass guitar dreams, hula hoops, Chicago love, and more! roughdraftwithkeidraandliz.podbean.com/e/rough-draf...
A graphic on a white, lined notebook-paper background. On the left is a glittery gold party hat with a colorful pom-pom on top. On the right is a large black circle containing bright blue text that reads “Rough Draft with Keidra & Liz,” with a blue vintage typewriter illustration beneath the text. Below, handwritten-style black text reads “Episode 10: Resolutions.” A silver pen rests diagonally along the lower right side of the image.

I'm stocked up on "The Gentle Deadline" zine. It's a perzine / interactive guidebook about writing and personal storytelling inspired by my later life ADHD diagnosis.
