I miss the #dnd #ttrpg community I’d built on the bird app. Anyone out there migrate here? Look at how I store and organize my dice by color and set. It’s for hardware. I spraypainted it pink. #dungeonsanddragons #tabletopgames

A screw and bolt storage container spray painted pastel pink and holding many set of dice. Alli has a problem

This may or may not have sent myself and my coworkers into a feral cute aggression spiral.

Yeah. It’s really disheartening. I saw some folks that I really respect posting pics of a protest where rocks were being thrown at a car and encouraging Americans to do the same to “be better”. It just felt crushing on top of *gestures broadly*

And those who back this regime are begging for any proof that their bigotry is warranted, that they were right in any capacity. They only need a LaCroix flavoring of evidence to cling to continue their damage. Some don’t even need that.

They’ve already tried (poorly) to pin political violence on the trans community. Any disruption, violence or perceived violence committed by someone who may have had vocal support of LGBTQ+ communities in any capacity will immediately be used to harm those communities.

This is what I need folks outside the US to remember when they blast Americans “not doing anything” online. There’s lots of excellent people resisting in every way they can but our opposition wants violence. They want any reason to turn on us. Economic resistance is slow but it’s the best way rn.

Metroidvanias are either Protestant or Catholic. Castlevania? Catholic, of course. Metroid? Protestant. Blasphemous is Catholic. Dead Cells, Protestant. Hollow Knight is Protestant, but Hollow Knight: Silksong is Catholic. That's why people are complaining the game is hard. Cause it's Catholic now.

Not to mention the WAG writers who closed down the entire film industry to gain AI protections turning around and giving everyone who stood with them the big middle finger.

These types of shows are also really tough psychologically on the folks who work on them. Especially art department and researchers. A friend of mine assistant art directed on this one and it was brutal.

ARTISTS: A lot of folks use wetransfer to send final files to their AD. Just a heads up that they changed their terms of service to say that they own the right to any work you upload and can use it to "train" their machine learning and also to reproduce it indefinitely

It’s giving “don’t make me sing” But on top of the self bloviating attempt at philosophizing it also feels like a bit of a stretch/arrogance to call them the “two dominate ideologies”. Especially when he himself claims one of them. They are among the loudest and most annoying, I’ll give him that.

Remember when I asked if we were cool with magic the gathering self-made proxies? I REALLY loved the treatment on legendary creatures for MH3, and I want it for basically all my commanders, so I'm just gonna make it happen for myself.

a fake version of the magic the gathering card Captain Howler, Sea Scourge. He is a anthropromorphic shark, covered in tattoos, viewed in portrait. His card text reads:

Ward—{2}, Pay 2 life.

Whenever you discard one or more cards, target creature gets +2/+0 until end of turn for each card discarded this way. Whenever that creature deals combat damage to a player this turn, you draw a card.

Oh boy. That’s a lot. On top of all the other atrocities, I never trust an artist who blames other artists for their lack of popularity instead of the capitalist hellscape we live in or their own need to improve (as a person it seems 😖).

Art of a cat-like skull girl in a long cowled hood. She has two horns shorn off unevenly and dipped in gold. Golden animalistic teeth. She is waving awkwardly. Drawn in graphite and acrylic paint. Gold elements added in photoshop
