This bird's tail is longer than its entire body! The Scissor-tailed Flycatcher trails ribbon streamers that open and close like scissors in flight. In spring the male throws himself into a "sky dance," rocketing up and tumbling through backwards! #birds #nature #birb #animals

A meerkat will hand its pup a live scorpion on purpose...and it's good parenting! Meerkats are known to actively teach their young. An adult bites the stinger off a scorpion, passes the disarmed prey to a pup, then makes each lesson harder as the youngster learns. #wildlife #animals #africa #nature
