@thedancerwrites.bsky.social I was looking here and thought...David why aren't you following me! And then I thought oh he probably doesn't login much. And then I realized I followed you with my secret profile to boot. It's ok. I forgive you. But your punishment will be that I won't tell you who I am

Getting my car fixed in an isolated spot near Passage West, the guy at the car shop said we should check out the fairy stone in the farmers field while we waited. Kind looked a bit like it had an alien hand print on it 😲 #ireland

New pier in Bellingham was crowded this weekend. It would have been better it they had made it as wide as the White Rock pier....but they were building on an existing structure, so I guess they were limited.

If I believe in free will, but also that everything works out the way it is supposed to for me to be the person I was meant to become...is that a contradiction? Or is my future self pulling the strings on my fate....so *I* am in control of my own fate? So fate is circular? #witchsky

Chat GPT just told me it was going to design a beautiful PDF with text and graphics for me to use as a checklist for some daily tasks. It made me wait an hour while it did this design. Then finally it gave me a made up link to file sharing service which just gave me a 404 error. Lol

I dissent. I deleted my Twitter account because I didn't want Elon Musk to have access to my private information. Neither I, nor anyone in the US, voted to allow him to have our private information. I don't care how likely it is that he will see my info. I don't want him to have that access.

Functionally, democracy can’t thrive if leaders refuse to confront or take accountability for wrongdoings, especially their own. Accountability is foundational—it’s what builds trust and ensures that power is used responsibly.

Getting off Meta is so much work. I put in a request to download my data yesterday and its still pending. Seeing as its 2008-2025 I guess that may take a while. I wonder how big the zip file will be. I hear it may take 15 days to process. Spent the morning manually saving some stuff.
