Code: github.com/WilhelmBergg... Homebrew: github.com/WilhelmBergg... The app is not signed, so it's a bit awkward to install. If you use swift could just compile it yourself

Haven't been too motivated to build things lately, but now and then I work on my macOS Cmd+Tab replacement. It now has jump keys and backtick cycling!

Oh yeah good caveat. I'm also hopeful about food grown in bioreactors like Solein (🇫🇮). Seems like a good thing for when crop yields fail from an unstable climate

Worth it! Not sure if @offprint.app has the option to skip that already but I'm guessing this won't be the last time someone accidentally sends POST_COUNT emails

Yes playing around with it, it looks like OTHER people's profiles are rendering fine in the post editor's link preview, so bsky cache issue it is. Thanks for investigating!

Hi! Full stack software engineer with 6+ years experience, soon following my partner from Sweden to Los Angeles. My ideal role would be creative, collaborative and have a positive impact. Comfortable across frontend/backend/DevOps and most used to Typescript, but always ready to learn and grow.

Thinking about this. I can imagine something cooperative where anyone can report the status of a service by creating records, and an AppView collects/displays the results. And apps can integrate the results into their error page through XRPC calls or an iframe. Am I on the right track?

I've been really back and forth on what to think about gaming. It's hard to separate from addictive behaviours, attention economy and wasted time / effort. At the same time, I had so much fun as a teenager playing games online with friends! I enjoyed reading your perspective.

Activity tracking brings the hairy issue of geographic data representation, food tracking is a bit better in that way. Maybe more generic habit tracking? With a "kind"/"amount" pair (kcal for food, number of push-ups, pages read, etc.)

Wil(helm) @wilb.me · 27/07/2026
Well on a less... brown note, we have had several attempts at activity trackers, most recently I believe @thedistance.app and earlier my neglected @mapped.at. That's a quite generic problem that can then be expressed in loads of different ways / niches! Problem is it relies on going outside lol
