The quality of your input defines the quality of your output. I recently found coliven.com, a place to plant your feet in "social soil" for a little while, or a long while. (1/3)

If I ever get to having my own place i would like to have a garden with herbs like mint, thyme and others so I can just come into the garden and pick fresh herbs off the bush. Come to think of it I probably could do it right now in just a pot, on a smaller scale.

During covid, my whole family got off lucky, no one died, no one got fucked up bad. Only my aunt died due to breast cancer, but that was indirect since probably she had harder time getting treatment for it. ...

How it feels to work on your personal project at 3AM.

A man sits in a circular room full of books and notes laying in a disorganized fashion. Infront of him there is a huge painting on the wall of some christian apocalipse.

How do you deal with fear of failure? Like sometimes I am anxious to do things, because I know they will be hard and I don't expect them to work out without trouble or some hardship. it's like a shadow that no matter where you go, goes with you.

Welcome to the app that can't be named! I find it funny people from X call Bluesky funny names like. "The other one", "Butterfly" or just "🦋" The subtle censorship is so blatant on X. What are some other funny ways others refer to Bluesky?

Had a mysterious bug I tried to debug for the last 2 days. Prisma was returning null from the db, but only like sometimes. No other info, cryptic message, dead end. Switched to drizzle, bug is gone, documentation is awesome and shit just works. FOSS wins again!

As indie hackers, we run on hope: Hope when that deployment fails. Hope when users aren't coming. Hope when the code breaks at 2AM. But here's the thing: Every successful founder started with just hope + persistence. Keep building. Your breakthrough is coming. 💪

Valve's $10B+ success playbook: 1) Over-deliver on value. 2) Listen & implement user feedback religiously. 3) Ship only when it's truly ready. The result? Rabidly loyal customers. Build for users, not deadlines.

When building stuff don't forget to: 1) Drink water. 2) Take regular breaks. 3) Go on a walk once in a while to relax. Input in, input out. Take care of yourself and things will take care of themselves, if you put in the effort.

Why I use Clerk in all of my SaaS startups: 1) It works. 2) It is quick to set up. That's it. The less I have to worry about user auth the more I can spend on marketing and making things my users love.

What do you do when you loose hope and motivation to push further when making stuff? I know I will eventually get back up, but it just sucks to feel this way. How do people find the will?
