WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 6hNot only did he not fix it, he took a perfectly good pool with minor issues and made it completely unusable. 0275
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 6hWatching “40 Hits of 1976 at the BBC” makes it really obvious how mainstream music in 2026 is absolutely awful. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 6hFrom experience, constitutions are often not devised with malicious internal actors in mind. Of course they should be but here we are. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 11hImmediate tow and crushing, no warning beyond the yellow lines that are there. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 11hNeither are misunderstood, they just don’t mean the same thing everywhere. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 18hTake it to the nearest police station and report it as hate speech and malicious communications, possibly harassment too. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 19hHappy birthday old girl, it’s been too long since I saw you! 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 09/10/2026An ancient pain au raisin by the looks of it. Might be stale by now. 010
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 09/10/2026It is not clear from the story that the individual concerned actually wanted this... 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Indeed, looks good but I don't understand how the supply voltage can be increased without exceeding the peak breakdown of the BS170. 010
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Oh, that's an interesting route to take; it would increase the current handling but not address the peak voltage breakdown issue. 100
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 08/10/2026He's only not wrong because he is wrong about the time period he is *trying* to talk about. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Neither do I, it exemplifies everything that is wrong with motoring today; far too big, poorly designed, vastly overpowered and grossly expensive. Oh and it looks like a "Cybertruck." 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I have the same problem; although I find it very good for vocabulary it doesn’t teach any of the grammar or morphology so it makes it really difficult to construct a sentence. I have been looking at the London Welsh Centre which does online courses and is said to be excellent. 110
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026At this point everyone knows they shouldn’t be doing these things so much, much more serious consequences need to result. 010
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026That tells you a bit about “standard” tram power supplies! 010
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026And *that* is not “the best” but is indicative of the sickness that underpins much of what is wrong today. It is vile and reprehensible. 100
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026How about the entire place is seized and bulldozed for affordable accommodation for workers? 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026If you like wheelie bins then you should definitely give Stockwell a go, there's LOADS of them! 210
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026A few years back I had a colleague who had to do this every three months for two years. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Did you listen to the BBC network radio RBS tests on Monday night? 100
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 07/10/2026It's a good job you didn't tell the whole internet about this. ;-) 130
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Yes. AI stuff cannot be turned off and reserves a big chunk of storage. On a 64 GB iPad the system is using ~50+ GB of storage and making it unusable. iPhone 16 256 GB working OK but AI stuff still won’t switch off. 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I fear I may need to do a wipe and start again with it. Or bin it. 100
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Every time I delete stuff the system expands and uses more, making the iPad hang and stutter again. 100
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I used to get a fair bit of ribbing for being a “soft southerner” but that was all playful. When it mattered they had my back. ✊🏿 020
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026This is a part of the country really love and miss, I would move back there in a heartbeat if I could. 120
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Of course we are *assuming* it wasn’t a gigantic aspidistra… 220
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026For comparison, first is my iPhone and second is my iPad. Why is the iPad using so much more? 110
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Five million pounds. That’s not the nice lunch and a hoodie that my colleague was subject to disciplinary proceedings for. Five. Million. Pounds. I fail to see how anyone can make this make sense. 110
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026A backup to iCloud from this iPad uses 2.2 Gb of storage. 🤷🏼♂️ 000
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I don’t understand why the switch from 26 to 27 necessitated the removal of the single “turn it off” setting. It’s important to have this, if only just so that otherwise perfectly good machines don’t become unusable because all of their resources are used on something unwanted. 130
WigglePig @wigglepig.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I had about 8Gb of clear space first thing this morning but suddenly something has eaten it all and I don’t know why. 120
