Kacper Wierzchoś @wierzchos.bsky.social · 19/06/2026Congrats my friend! A very very well deserved award. If I had one I'd move the TV and put this in its place. 110

Kacper Wierzchoś @wierzchos.bsky.social · 21/03/2026Indeed, I saw the posts on comets-ml. I'm not sad, the comet did what it was supposed to and I got to see it visually with my binoculars :) 110

Kacper Wierzchoś @wierzchos.bsky.social · 02/03/2026Nice! I'm hoping for the full moon to get out of the way in a few days to observe it again. 020
Kacper Wierzchoś @wierzchos.bsky.social · 21/02/2026Indeed, I always wanted the legendary Fujinon 25x150 that the Japanese comet hunters used but they are so expensive (and heavy) and I feel like these Vixen 20x125s also made in Japan are close enough. 020
Kacper Wierzchoś @wierzchos.bsky.social · 21/02/20262/2 I did not attempt a visual magnitude estimate as the comet was just 22" away from 8.4 magnitude star HD11134. The comet appeared as an obvious fuzzy and slightly elongated patch surrounding HD11134. The comet is visible in smaller binoculars; mine just happen to be big and beautiful. 060
Kacper Wierzchoś @wierzchos.bsky.social · 21/02/20261/2 Today at 02:54 UTC I achieved something of a dream of mine. After several failed attempts over the past few nights, I was finally able to observe one of my comets visually through a break in the clouds with my old Vixen 20x125 binoculars from Kitt Peak National Observatory. 3251
