Apparently fresh hip removal surgery hurts less than the arthritis he had so in his mind he's feeling great and zooming. I have to fight to keep him stationary. I feel both terrible about this new revelation and now very happy we spent all that money helping him. This little shit.

My cat only had surgery two weeks ago and still needs 24/7 care, but he doesn't care. He's not suppose to move, let alone be able to move at all, but he doesn't know that. He ran up stairs and jumped on the bed... he shouldn't be able to do that.

Yesterday I lost something expensive, got my foot injured by my orange cat and had to go wait at urgent care forever, had the worlds worst tension headache, had an identity crisis about my career as an artist, my poor injured cat is getting stir crazy… sigh I’m good now but my foot still hurts lol

Guess who half ripped her pinky toe nail off and bled everywhere by kicking a cage on accident while cleaning up after my poor high af cat I then proceeded to drop all the bandaids everywhere and my injured cat tried to walk over to see what happened so i had to run back I’m having a day lol

Baby home and already defying doctors orders, he’s supposed to be sleepy and sleep and lay down a lot. Instead he is instantly trying to use his leg…. Oh Atticus

This will be the mega thread of Atticus updates, thank you all for your love and support. Vet just called, surgery went well! I pick him up soon Atti’s sad recovery hovel, in a week we can add a litter box and a bed but he gets sadness corner until his open surgical wound heals
