And with that, the third Mononoke movie comes to a close. Getting a new series will be neat, but god, those visuals are hard to follow sometimes! Definitely appreciated something in the final fight which was a treat to fans of the original anime 20y ago.

I still think that doing a one-shot, NSFW or otherwise, is a great learning opportunity and test of one's skills and knowledge, and everyone should do it at least once. Not everyone is interested in sequential storytelling, but it's a good challenge to think differently!

If anyone was curious, these were the main stats for Field Mouse after two weeks on Itch, after which point sales had flatlined (pretty normal). Probably a few thousand people saw the bsky post, 314 clicked through to the page, and 23 bought it. Honestly, that ratio is still /very/ good.

I've basically spent this whole weekend binging the Smoking Behind the Supermarket manga and getting to the actual plot development. It's a slow burn (heh), but I really enjoy it. As an American though, I will never understand being in love with your job though (especially retail!!)!
