Still waiting on those checks I’m supposed to have been getting from George Soros for being angry at the state of the world and walking around with other people holding signs about it. It’s been a few years now, they in the mail yet, buddy?

I have one of these grey upside down ones too. They are not helpful I job searches that is for sure.

There is a documentary about the Christmas House in Wheeling, WV though, so enjoy that if you feel the need to learn about weird people who are not serial killers. youtu.be/c-Za7qFhzhw

Clearly people don’t remember Friendster and their basics of comparison on what constitutes the death of a social media platform is showing.

There’s still plenty of time for public service vehicles to be swallowed by failing infrastructure. We’re Pittsburgh, I have faith in us.

Hopefully you actually had 3 of those trinket bags left because my ass is currently sifting through this mess to see if I could make little bags by next week. And now I don’t have to.
A jumbled pile of a combination of vintage and new fabric scraps in the colors of the rainbow lays on the floor. It is a mess.

Their CS50 course has been largely free for awhile. You only have to pay for credit. It’s actually *really* good I just haven’t been able to put the time I need to into it.

(And yes while I acknowledge that it is not about a structured witch school it is still boarding school + magic and still counts in my childhood pantheon, whereas HP doesn’t count because I was 19 when that was released in the US).

This is one of my favorite books ever, despite being fuuuucked up. I somehow missed it when I was younger, (but not some of the rest of her work, Witch Week loomed large in my “I will immediately consume media that involves witch school” that started with the 1986 Worst Witch adaptation).

Even an AI he created where he is directly speaking multiple inflections per syllable will not prepare us for what actually falls out of his mouth.

I need one (x3) pin and 1 (x3) other item (koozie, trinket, something) to complete the gift bags I am making for my friends that I always go to the Pittsburgh Pride Parade with. $15 and under per item. Show me what you’re making, Bluesky. Patches by @michiums.bsky.social in hand already.
Three oval patches by Michiums. The patches are fanned out, and depict a rainbow garden around a black space with the words “queer existence is eternal” in gold lettering. The borders of the patches are green.

Family who were also suddenly doing very similar “do what I tell you and not as I do” things that were very obviously un-Christian even to a 7 year old. So yeah, realizing all the adults who were trying to raise me Catholic while being mean and full of shit is what did it.

What drove me away from Christianity was being in first grade at a Catholic school and witnessing the meanest shit said to tiny children (and almost encouraged when it was coming from the other children) while teaching “Jesus’ kindness”. And that was before I moved back to living near my mom’s 1/2

A small blocky figure of Cyclops in his blue and gold X-Factor “X” costume holds his gloved hands to his ears as he is nestled between the giant ear pads of a pair of headphones that are much larger than he is. He’s being tortured sonically.

Jay is fucking cool. I listened to 300 episodes of his podcast some years ago and he changed my mind on Cyclops (to a degree I would not want to be in a group project or at a party with Cyke). I am someone who used to have a photo account where I just put Cyclops figures in comedic misadventures.

But they also don’t respect their kids enough to know their own minds or allow them to veer away from *their* vision for said kids. They almost treat them like any other investment or property. Wild behavior for people who pretend they care so much about children.
