THE EXPANSE is still on Amazon Prime and apparently they're not going to take it off until you've all watched it. Twice. So... Go and do that.

James Whatley @whatleydude.com · 10h

Just rediscovered THE EXPANSE is still on Amazon Prime. A rewatch is fine. Right? RIGHT?!

This is like that old joke when the vicar bunks off Sunday service and gets 12 hole in ones and St Peter asks God 'Why?' and God says 'Who's he gonna tell?'

Working on something SO INCREDIBLE, 12-year-old me would completely fall over in shock. Ask me about it in six months. I can't even tell you the codename. Just know that [redacted] is literally all my dreams in one product.... 😭

😭😭😭 I've got it for one of my kids' birthdays, I'm sure we'll play it together... (but the birthday isn't until December so I've bought time 😅) bsky.app/profile/what...

The Witcher Remaster will have to wait. I've got: - The Blood of Dawnwalker (nearly done) - Control Resonant (itching to start) - Wolverine (on standby) As well as chipping away at new LEGO Batman and ORBITALS just sat staring at me from the Switch 2. Maybe I'll play them when GTA drops.

I quite like it y'know! One of those things that I'd never think to pick up but was bought for me last Christmas. It's gorgeous. Caramelly without being too over bearing. Eminently drinkable. Xx

After 5+ amazing years, my role at Ninja Theory is at risk of redundancy and I'm therefore looking for new opportunities.

Heads up Switch 2 players. The 5% off PLAYTIME code thing also works on pre-orders of OCARINA OF TIME.

The great thing with having played ABSOLUM is that it is a great game and I am clearly a gamer of taste. The major problem with having played ABSOLUM is that it has completely reset the bar for ALL side-scrolling beat/hack/slash-em-ups forEVER. God damn it.

happy bisexual visibility day, if ur bisexual then make sure to torment a friend who isn’t bisexual TODAY

Discord screenshot to someone named “Elise.”

first message says “also it's bisexual visibility day and u haven't congratulated me yet. biphobe”

then it’s several messages back to back, starting with a 🥺 kitty that says “fine ignore me then”

then another one of the same pic saying “be honest with me do you think I’m getting annoying”

then another one of the same pic saying “are you mad at me”

then a final one saying “do you hate me be honest”

and then Elise replies with “DSLKFJSKFD I'M WORKING!!!”

A note from the Remedy Entertainment team to our CONTROL Resonant community. We're so excited to welcome you into Altered Manhattan. They have been *so* helpful in every step of both my content transfer and my URL set up. 2-3 times now I've emailed them about a feature request and then it has arrived literally days later. They also interviewed me for their blog 🥹 buttondown.com/blog/james-w...

You're v. welcome. I have to be really careful with what I talk about for obvious reasons. I'm not an official spokesperson for the LEGO Group but I'll always talk about work more broadly if I can :)

So, I'm a Snr Brand Strategist, yes. I work *mainly* on how we communicate some of our brands and their associated bricks, eg: Ninjago (but also: Technic, and some gaming stuff too). I do a good amount of thinking and planning on how and where we show up. eg: www.youtube.com/shorts/KU0eW...

Fun thing. The LEGO Technic Forza Horizon 6 stuff we did is in this month's LEGO Technic magazine. (I will stop wanging on about LEGO work for a bit now, sorry x)

James Whatley @whatleydude.com · 19/09/2026

Ohhh. Well, these things are often years in the making. Across *everything* the LEGO Group does. I only joined the Ninjago team a year or so ago. I worked on the launch of Ninjago in Fortnite from the gaming side and then joined the Ninja from there :)

Ahh I'm glad you agree. Big fan. So nice to have them FINALLY out in the world. 😍 Production wise, that's not my area alas so couldn't comment.
