One thing I’m good at is having tall guys stand right in front of me at shows. They always find me! It’s wild!

WhatFreshHell (She/Her) @whatfreshhell.northsky.social · 10h

The boys decided to explore a medium (super 8) and remade Hallucinations. While it was cool to see them redo some of the gags and they do look cool on tiny film the original still works better. Still enjoyed this. Having to sub all dialogue makes extra weird which was nice! Hahah

This had three writers, so that’s why the story is three times as good as the godfather Tom Savani’s fx and being littered with 80s character actors is this only saving grace

Classic melodramatic horror with many cool elements and scenes Enjoyed it aside from how they did my girl Alida Valli dirty by giving her goofy music while she was up to no good. She deserved better!

Horny Polonias are back. Bigger boobs and longer sudsy shower time. Part 2 brings Jon McBride’s acting stylings as the lead with a couple of dudes to paranormally investigate the house from part 1. At this point I have a real soft spot for the Poloniaverse. They have a special “something “

All in all this was pretty good. Well crafted FF with a lead who can actually act! Granted I just really wanted him to get savagely mauled by a wild animal or ghost or whatever but still ! Some well crafted tension/scares in there.

Finished another book! Didn’t vibe too much with this one but it had some good moments. Some out there camp gore and humor that was fun. Especially in the middle to near the end See alt text for synopsis. Cover by Trevor Henderson.

The small Scottish town of Auchenmullan is dead, and has been for years. It sits in the shadow of a mountain, forgotten and atrophying in the perpetual gloom.

Forty-seven residents are all that remain.

There's nothing to do there, nothing to see, except for a solitary grave near the top of the mountain.

MAGGIE WALL BURIED HERE AS A WITCH reads the faded inscription.

But sometimes the dead don't stay buried. Especially when they have unfinished business.

A relentless folk-horror nightmare from the author of The Forgotten Island, Maggie's Grave will disturb and shock in equal measure.

This movie rules so hard. It has horror, action, suspense, comedy and drama. A creepy village with weird lore, over the top fight scenes. Cool split line story telling. Twists! Turns! And friendship All with two awesome women in the lead roles!

Gave me the feels of staying up and watching a made for tv movie past my bedtime, eating popcorn on a random summer night. I enjoyed it it but only recommended to those who like Carrie inspired made for tv movies from the late 70s hehe

The horniest Polonia Bros I've seen so far. I didn't know they had it in them! cheesed out haunted house with some neat visuals thrown about. I want more of that! Maybe I'll find it in part 2!?

Polonias do ancient aliens. I love the creature design, they are so cute! Great music especially the moving montage. Not as batshit as some other Polonia Bros films but still fun nonetheless!

This movie rules so hard. Love a quirky odd ball cannibal slasher. Nancy Parsons shines as Ida and the rest of the cast does a good job as the weird bunch they are.

Poor Joseph, cousins can be pretty odd! Probably the most sinister Polonia bros movie and I think it has to do with the influence of Todd Micheal Smith.

A little funny, a little sweet, very gory and goopy and goes bonkers in the end. A pretty good time and a nice welcomed jolt to the tired zombie genre

Flesh Games! Zero budget SOV with a cool spin on FF. What is shitty go nowhere CKY/jackass worshiping group of friends desperate for glory lose their minds a little too much? Great music in there, too!

If worrying what other people think/say about you is preventing you from doing fun things that make you happy then you have to Fix That.

Quite an interesting one where the existential dread is transposed to the viewer. Feel like there is enough room for interpretation but for me mostly feels like learning to let go in the face of all that we deal with in life.

A trippy and anguishing exploration of the pull into comforting customs of slightly unhealthy friend groups. Ty II try to leave, yearn for bigger and better things but failure and self doubt can bring you back. Ad Infinitum

Feel like this movie requires a very specific setting and attention for it to hit. Put yer phone down, late night, lights off, all alone. I wasn’t really vibing with it at first and was ready to sarcastically say “this could have just been a podcast” but I got into it and found it to be neat!
