agreed! I'm a gen 1 player as well, and I still replay the first and second gens (and their respective ROM hacks) occasionally. the first two generations of Pokemon were a totally different vibe.

your Switch 2 or the games you buy. If Nintendo suspects any shenanigans with modding or piracy, they can legally brick your device, and there's little to no physical carts. I think that's wrong. hard pass for me, as I like to mod all my stuff and play homebrew and emulators. also yo ho 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

N64 games used to cost $60 upon release, I think you could make the argument that video games should probably be more expensive than they are, actually. BUT I also think wages should have increased, we should all be richer as well. I'm more concerned with the fact that you don't really own..
