Yeah, any open source os you're going to lose RCS, since it's proprietary, but signal is an option if you can get people to use it. Also there are other alternatives for your os that probably have more device compatibility, graphene just has the loudest dev team 😂

Yeah, I got lucky in that I picked up some hard drives before the prices really spiked. You can find used drives on eBay for decent prices sometimes, you just have to keep an eye out and be ready to pounce lol

Yup, running graphene os on a pixel I picked up used. It works just as well as anything like 99% of the time, with two big exceptions: some of my banking apps don't work (no big deal, I just use the website), and I can't use RCS for texting which suxxxxxxx

Immich is amazing, its search feature is legit better than Google or Apple photos. I've also mostly switched my phone to open source software, if that's a journey you're interested in, lol
