Mild take for the day: All videos players (looking at you YouTube) should have a waveform on the timeline to allow easier skipping to specific parts where the audio track noticeably changes. As seen here in Amberol, which is music player, but the idea is the same. #UX #UI

Why is Discourse so bad at counting. "(1)" on items happens regularly, but when clicked there's nothing there. Hard refresh fixes it (the unread count goes away).

HOLY SHIT THEY HAVE A CHICK ALREADY. They must've nested somewhere else and migrated back to their usual spot once the chicks hatched. Only one seems to have survived so far. Looks less than a week old.

We're on our way to Airlie Beach for a couple of weeks. Today we drove from home to Calliope. We checked in on the big fig in Miriam Vale, and visited the lovely beachside town of Tannum Sands along the way. #Queensland

The ptyxis terminal emulator on Ubuntu Linux 26.04 with a `cargo build` command running. The tab for the terminal has a little pie chart, one quarter filled that updates as the build progresses.
