@adrian-ivl.bsky.social The new ice sounds fit for ice cubes, but for giant blocks of ice it needs to buff the high end a bit, the current sound is just low end and midrange
@jebox.bsky.social Could bundles get a small buff to have dropped items automatically go into them instead of your inventory
@jebox.bsky.social PLEASE make the Sift directly tied to Minecraft's gameplay loop. Don't make it optional if you want to reach the end of the game, give players direct goals to complete by going there and give hints to the ancient portal's existence
It's been 6 years, can budding amethyst please be made silk-touchable? Amethyst isn't as powerful enough as a spawner or vault to warrant it not being able to be brought home. Several major resource blocks have been added since then and they've been able to be collected/crafted @jebox.bsky.social
@jebox.bsky.social what if for the creeper's texture. perhaps both of these styles could be combined...?
@jebox.bsky.social What happened to copper grates supporting sulfur geysers? I thought that was a popular interaction and it worked?
On the offchance a new Bear reskin is considered for the autumn biome, PLEASE make it a Black Bear. Black Bears are incredibly skittish IRL and only attack people if driven to a corner or attacked first. If it was a Polar Bear copy with adjusted proportions, it'd be just fine.
@jebox.bsky.social
@jebox.bsky.social It'd be neat if there was a rare chance to see a soul particle fly out of a mob/player when slain
@jebox.bsky.social Since the new autumn trees seem to have unique falling leaf particles, can the rest of the trees get unique ones too? The leaf blocks have so many different shapes, but then their particles are all oak leaves.
With vulkan making rendering more powerful, and the possibility of a dungeons tie-in update happening in the future, it would be a nice refresh for vanilla's aesthetics if some dungeonsisms came to the game. 2d->3d blocks and items, blinking and moving eyes, new smooth animations
@jebox.bsky.social
Someone on twitter has been driving themselves crazy by asking for dual wielding on bedrock for almost two years in a row. Could you comment on if the bedrock team is looking into it
@jebox.bsky.social
@jebox.bsky.social
Can we please, please just have a gunpowder recipe using sulfur spikes? Just anything involving sulfur? This biome had such huge potential and seeing the drop is feature complete makes me disappointed. Just one last thing that gives it utility?
@jebox.bsky.social Can we have this as an alternative to creeper farms and for peaceful mode gunpowder?
@jebox.bsky.social
People are freaking out over sulfur cube physics being changed from the 1st Bedrock Preview to Java. A good handful of interesting tech was discovered on Bedrock, like leaded boat travel and sticking to flat surfaces for monorails. Could this behavior become official in some way?
@jebox.bsky.social
Perhaps to emphasize sulfur's volatility, cave lichen could become very rare due to toxins, while volcanic activity and redstone ore become very common instead?
So, I know Minecraft is fantasy, but I don't think the dangers of Sulfur should be as undersold as it is in the current beta. Toxic gasses are a part of sulfur's identity yes, but sulfur deposits can be incredibly deadly due to extreme heat and strong acids that form.
@jebox.bsky.social
@jebox.bsky.social
Since sulfur is acidic, shouldn't the water in sulfur caves be replaced with an acid liquid that damages you on contact?
@jebox.bsky.social
Minecraft really needs a more flexible update schedule if the team has been so swamped with work they've had to ignore obvious errors and ship them just to get the update out on time
@jebox.bsky.social
I think some more quality assurance would be good for the drops. Issues that got patched out weeks ago being readded, easy-fix errors being ignored in spite of being pointed out...
It really hurts to see the game being neglected like this, and for new features? Add and forget?
@jebox.bsky.social Could an official survey be drafted up for different redesign ideas for some of the baby mobs? The ones that are most contested online, like the sheep or equines, even just the eye designs on most of them.
Just a "pick your favorite" from three drafted options. Quick and direct
Igloos still have broken crawlspace generation even after years of bug reports. Could it be changed to a jigsaw structure so it finally gets fixed?
@slicedlime.bsky.social
New baby piglins are good, baby villagers and zombies are a bit of a miss. They now look even more disproportionate than they did, and still have the issue of adult heads on baby bodies. If it's too late to change the model, at least change their faces please
@jappa.bsky.social @jebox.bsky.social
@jebox.bsky.social I know you said to keep @'ing jappa but I don't have faith he's lurking here so if the art team hasn't seen the baby mob feedback could you pass this to them
@jappa.bsky.social
1/2
Feedback for new baby models I've seen include:
Models shouldn't move cubes slightly to prevent Z-fighting, inflate a cube by .01 instead
The equine heads are too thick and legs too short
Baby cats shouldn't be bigger than adults
There's UV map overlaying that needs fixing
@jebox.bsky.social
Could there be a more clear way to submit texture and model feedback? None of the artist devs are active on social media anywhere so we cant talk to them. And the official websites arent viewed by them either I feel, since I've seen feedback over the year, but nothing gets edited
@jebox.bsky.social
I'd be curious if a basic furniture update still falls under denied? With more complex blocks and utilities being added over the years it'd be interesting to see some thought put into actual furniture like chairs and tables. What we currently have doesn't fit all builds sadly
@jebox.bsky.social
If vertical slabs were denied due to having to hugely rework an engine or something, why not make them a separate block? If you put a slab in the crafting grid, you get a vertical slab and vice versa
@jebox.bsky.social
I'm curious if you can answer this one: For a long time vertical slabs were denied because they "inhibited creativity," but I want to know what led to that conclusion? It seems strange that adding more options in a sandbox game would lead to people building less creatively
The two of you have expressed interest in it before, but since this is the update with de-obsification, I wanted to ask if y'all were interesting in adding a lot of tags that modders could latch onto this update? Ex: Specific Biome Tag categories

Can part of 26.1 include a lot of mod compatibility features? Not just tags, but removing hard coding from certain things so two different mods can affect them. Like two different mods being able to add biomes, new armor trims and colors, enchantments, ect

Please dont let the mindset of "the community has already done it" hold you guys back from revamping vanilla systems and game code please
Enchanting, brewing, food/cooking, combat, game code optimization, polishing; all things the vanilla experience needs deserves a look through-
@slicedlime.bsky.social
Would it be possible for entities to get attribute features that affect their colors too? A value that changes an entity's saturation, hue, and lightness? It could affect singular entities or entities of the same type
Imagine a data pack that randomizes all pigs colors
@jebox.bsky.social
I've noticed the new undead mobs have or make others inconsistent with themselves. The zombie horse burns while the skeleton horse doesn't, the zombie nautilus burns and suffocates while the drowned does neither. Is it possible to change these for consistency?
@jebox.bsky.social
Really cool live! Looking forward to the Nautilus. Now that there's an ocean mount, I hope there's even a small sprinkle of new ocean decorations and stuff to find being added alongside it. Ocean could use even more stuff to find with how big they can get.
@jebox.bsky.social
What are the chances for a Food/Hunger rework update?
Hunger isn't very intuitive and everyone goes down the same road for food.
I think having a food workbench and making all foods have a unique eating speed and prepared foods having effect bonuses could revitalize the mechanic
@jebox.bsky.social
if there's new tools and armor being added then I think it would be worth it to look at all the tiers for a gameplay rebalance, like, iron could be a lot stronger along with copper staying a middle ground, gold could still be fast but be made strong as stone for a niche, ect
@taxiderby.coven.cafe
Hello, I don't know if you can answer but I wanted to ask you,
Is there any chance earlier Deltarune chapters will be updated with current chapter gameplay features and narrative information as new ones release? Just to make the complete game more cohesive.

Perhaps the new music disc should only drop from a Ghast if it's killed in the overworld? In my experience reflect kills are too easy to get for a 100% drop rate.
And, would it be possible for Java to have Bedrock's leather horse armor texture? Java's looks so flat in comparison
@dlonking.bsky.social
If I may ask a question, assuming you may know, what's the theming of Java's update numbers of the new drop system? What would it take in a drop for it to cause it to go to the next whole number instead of a decimal version?
