(1/2) Playing Persona 3 and realized how weird I find the Social Link system in Persona You’re basically rewarded for saying whatever each character wants to hear, which turns the player into a sycophant rather than making the relationship feel genuine. There has to be a better way to design this.

Two games I played a little of yesterday. Logic Bombs. Basically Mario SNES Picross but each level has a different gimmick. Bobo Bay. A game that is JUST about the chao raising aspect of Sonic Adventure 2. I've always wanted to make a game like this but never did. Both are great even if niche.

(1/2) Some things I worked on for #Deltarune Chapter 5 include assembling Pink's date ACTs, dialogue, and the dummy audience. I also assembled the Flowery battle, including the attack order (though not the bullet patterns themselves).

I saw a video from a game developer saying he doesn’t even know what to make. He said that almost everything has been done before. Which is weird to me, I have lots of game design docs filled with game ideas that for sure haven’t been done before. Just wish I had more time 🥲 (and infinite budget)

If a game designer had to play one fantasy online survival crafting game what would you recommend? They all take so long to complete... I'm considering Valheim, Runescape: Dragonwilds, Enshrouded I really liked V Rising, Core Keeper, Terraria Calamity Mod. Maybe I'll just play V rising again lol.
