Yet more blood tests in the morning before I'm allowed treatment tomorrow. Harrumph. One thing worse than having chemo is not being allowed to have chemo... so watching All Creatures instead of Traitors as I need cosiness and comfortable.

Hallelujah, I can drink coffee again ☕️ #ChemoDay7 And it's raining! First proper rain in Oxford for months. Hopefully, just in time to save our garden. I'm exempt from the hosepipe ban but unfortunately too disabled to actually use it! I like to look at it, though.

I wore jeans yesterday for thefirst time in months. Finally cool enough - although baking in the hospital treatment room where my treatment took 9 bloody hours - and whaddyaknow they don't fit and they're tiny. Will need tinier. Bought a comfy small soft hoodie, whaddyaknow too big! Harrumph.

Treatment mood this evening = 😵‍💫 I wish my hair remnants would fall out all at once, rather than make my poor head feel like an itchy, patchy blotch. Week 3 fatigue's bad. I'm back on the sofa. And I think my feet may fall off. Treatment 2 on Friday after they remove another armful of blood tomorrow

I've had a good day today but ended a little sad. I know it doesn't matter much, it's the least of my problems, but I washed my long hair for the last time tonight. Literally handfuls of it came out in the brush. Time to cut it off. But, if it gives me more time, I can do without hair.

First treatment ticked off - six long hours. Thanks to the nurses for their kind and good-natured care. Although one did ask what I was watching the bowling for! Not an easy question to answer. Now to rest. My fatigue is even more fatigued than it was before. Another 2 years to go 🤞🤞🤞🤞 I hope......😨

Starting chemotherapy and immunotherapy tomorrow. I thought I'd feel okay, that I'd processed it, but I haven't. I am filled with dread and fear. It's got very real. And if one more person says 'Get better soon' I will implode.

I'm all over the place with scans and hospital appointments this week. The scan results are being fast-tracked. That brings me no comfort. I realise this is what it's going to be like. Finding love and comfort where it's always found. Sorry to be maudlin. It's not easy. I say Sorry a lot!
