Thank you everyone for the kind words and for all your help. Im still on a social media sabbatical and will be sporadic, but I really appreciate everyone's kind words while I yelled in to the void about all of this. Its okay to need help and reminders that youre seen and matter.

She's so tired after all of our hard work. Its hard getting to run around the yard and bark at all the squirrels while the Mommas work!

Its a bad PRV valve. The hot water heater could have literally gone through the roof.

Some photos of what got it bad and the progress we made today

🐴 Eef @werepups.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

So, we are done with what we can. Broke down and salvaged what we could. So thankfully it wasnt as bad as it originally felt. There was at least 1/2-3/4" deep water at one part but it had pooled around a rocking chair and other furniture. Now we let it dry out and wait.

Cleaning up household emergencies is so much more expensive and inexpensive at the same time. I just spent $300 on squeegee, anti mold, tubs, and whatever else just to make sure nothing else happens.

Thank you to everyone who sent a little our way. We were able to get dinner that will have enough left overs for us to eat tomorrow. The rest of anything given will go in to getting some plastic bins to try and salvage what we can and clean out our garage to avoid mold.

I hate how much I'm crying right now and how stupid and worthless I feel. I just should have done more research before putting us in this position. I put so much more unneeded stress on us than I realized and I can't take it anymore.

Hi. My hot water heater has a massive leak in my garage and after waiting an entire day for a fix they didn't fix it and refuse to come back. If you'd like to buy me dinner so I don't have to move all of our soiled and soaked belongings off my counters to cook I'd appreciate it. ko-fi.com/werepups

Yesterday was the fall equinox, so here's a nice, autumn themed Whimsical Horse Wednesday 🍂 #modelhorse #breyerhorses

A photo of a Breyer traditional scale model horse: Leif, who has a coppery colored base coat, dark points with subtle green and red shading, and gold leaves flowing across his body. On the Friesian Sporthorse mold.

I made more mini rulers! 📏⭐️ [ #cuteart #artshop #stationery ]

Three acrylic keychain rulers that are designed to look like a cute, long cat, with the measurements going up their bodies. One is clear yellow, one is opaque tuxedo, and one is clear purple. They're on a blank notebook with various office supplies around them.

what a great opportunity to remind people that comicfury & cartoonists united exist, that comic artists are still thriving outside the app-ified ecosystem, and that everyone should make compilation PDFs so their comics don't depend on platforms that do not respect creators OR readers. #creator_txt

The Tower of Zeldaga is a mashup of the Legend of Zelda and Tower of Druaga. Every room has a secret puzzle and the puzzles get more obtuse as you go on. It's free, runs in your browser (incl mobile), supports controllers, and I'd really love for you to try it out! legitimatebusiness.biz/tower/
