Nerve pain (sciatica?) putting a stop to marathon training. Lots of driving to Scotland in a week going to be hellish! Wish there was an instant fix

Off to a dance rehearsal and I have no dance experience apart from raving in woods and interpretive dance at home 🤣 Feeling trepidatious.

2nd test today of Altra trail shoes with an 8k. Recent ultra left me with so many blisters and black toenails I decided it is time to try something else besides my beloved Hokas. Need more toe room on the steep downhills. Plan to keep Hokas for roads. #running

50k Ultra completed on Saturday. Up and down on the moors around Haworth. Beautiful day for it. Took it v steady walking, running, chatting and eating. Nearly 1441m elevation. Still struggling to walk now but feeling proud 😁 #SheStrides #UltraMarathon #Running

First time running half marathon distance in over a year, after being injured most of last year. Slow but got it done. Great to be back on the trails. Ponies on the trails reminds me of the New Forest 😁 #TrailRunning #Running #Calverley

#TrigPoint no. 146 #HeptonstallMoor. Was meant to be a run but was so boggy it was mainly slow walking and navigating! #TrigBagging wild on the tops.

Just been to see #TheFifthStep at the cinema for the 2nd time @nationaltheatre.org.uk as my husband hadn't seen it. So pleased he agreed with me that it is superb. Only 4 of us in the #cinema which is a shame. A fab portrayal of addiction;power dynamics; recovery and friendship.

Lots of cancelled parkruns so ended up at #ListerPark #parkrun for a surprisingly unslippy run and a big queue to cross the finish line
