Nearly a mile underground in South Dakota, a detector filled with liquid xenon just recorded what physicist Eric Dahl calls the most interesting dark matter signal he's seen in 20 years. While not an official discovery, researchers say it's a big step: news.weinberg.northwestern.edu/2026/09/01/n...
