I think the key here is there needs to be consequences. There were consequences after WWII, and Germany did not keep electing Nazis. There were no consequences after the 2008 crash. There were no consequences for trump after the first term. It was as good as permission.

i think the biggest issue is time. Europe and her military equipment and satellite info etc etc is largely dependant upon americas involvement. BUT europe is waking up it seems, 800b for euro rearmament and im confident...provided we secure time, europe/ukraine will come through this.fingers crossed
