i got the disposable camera i used on my 1500-mile roadtrip from dallas to philly developed today and i love how this bu-cee statue just looks kinda haunted

digital scan of a film photo of a statue of bu-cee the beaver in his little ball cap with his arms outstretched. the whole thing is kind of sepia toned due to me not using the flash right probably

it got worse btw: we have to practice this dialogue and then “perform” it in class next week. what if i DIED, CONNIE!!!!!

It’s you …
Really
I miss you!
It’s good.
What?
Just
Talking with you
If you had never left Korea
Would I still have looked for you?
Would you have dated? Broken up?
Got married?
Would we have had kids together?
Why did you look for me?
I just wanted to see you one more time.

*tablo. anyway i just needed to get that off my chest

screenshot of lyrics from “stop the rain” by tablo and RM that reads:

I was raised by guilt, raised by shame, raised by the rod
(Bloody calves sacrificed in the name of their God)
They claimed it was love, felt like heartbreak to me
Later they'd say, "Baby, all your scars are to teach and remind you, you can soar higher"
What good's a bird's eye view when you're in a hunter's crossfire?

the line “they claimed it was love, felt like heartbreak to me” is highlighted in gray

from NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO PANIC by kevin wilson, which i just finished and dearly loved

screenshot of text in a kindle app, reading: and I had no idea what other people thought was good or what was import-ant. And so I almost never told anyone what I liked because I was terrified that they would tell me how stupid it was. Every single thing that you loved became a source of both intense obsession and possible shame. Everything was a secret.
