i don't really remember why i looked this up earlier but uh... what the actual fuck is happening with her face. who said "yep, that's a character design alright" to this?

Becky (I guess a cartoon dog? who knows) from the animated series T.U.F.F. Puppy who, through no fault of her own, was drawn with a face where somehow her mouth is right below her eyes but then she also has an enormous dog nose with... no mouth? i don't know how to describe this. imagine if you touched a dog's face and it had a mouth like sort of back where the jawbone is and then the whole rest of the nose had no mouth but also it was, idk, like a pitbull or something with a BIG SNOOT. this is really challenging to alt text because it is visually such a disaster.

every time I try to go back to using the combination of C#/dotnet and the official k8s client library I want to throw someone or something out a window. it is a barely-testable disastrous mess. look at this horseshit:

we can start with this. this PC was reinstalled about a year ago from scratch and was missing any dev tools outside of the WSL instance (which i use a ton). so, hey, let's get git. or not? this is needlessly clumsy still in 2024. which git could I have POSSIBLY meant, hm?

invocation of winget install git at powershell command line produces several lines of output saying "multiple packges found matching input criteria" with two irrelevant packages and the actual thing you'd want, 'git', in the middle. in the name column it is called 'Git', but the id column is 'Git.Git'
