On #America250, we reckon with where we have fallen short while embracing the founding ideals that gave us tools for progress. Clean air and water, public lands, and free and fair elections are worth fighting for. The next 250 years must be defined by a strong democracy and healthy environment. 🇺🇸

Areas near new data centers saw an increase in electricity costs of as much as 267% compared to five years ago. Data centers are driving up our energy bills, straining water supplies, and polluting our air. Enough is enough. It's time for data centers to pay their fair share.

No matter what tricks Republicans try to pull on voters this election, Washington Democrats will never stop fighting for everyone's sacred right to vote in our democracy. www.spokesman.com/stories/2026...
Graphic with statement declaring: “Every voter needs to recognize that Republicans in D.C. are terrified of them and are working around the clock to suppress their votes. On the same day a federal judge permanently blocked Trump’s illegal Executive Order attempting to change how every state runs their elections, the United States Postal Service announced its illegal rule refusing delivery of ballots from states that don’t comply with that same illegal Executive Order. Republicans know they cannot win a fair election and so they are tearing up our Constitution to erect every conceivable roadblock to prevent voters from making their voices heard. Washington Democrats know our state has the safest, most secure and most convenient elections system in the country. We will never stop fighting to ensure every voter has the tools and knowledge to exercise their sacred right to cast a ballot. These sad attempts to chisel away at the bedrock of our democracy only strengthens our resolve to elect Democrats up and down the ballot to reign in one of the most disastrous, corrupt, and weak presidencies in our lifetime.”
