you ffxiv fandom people or whatever are moving so maliciously on every platform you live on it’s actually disgusting. you care more about a game than you care about real people. it’s the most disheartening thing i have ever seen in my life

I genuinely feel so hopeless and heartbroken. I used to pray with all my heart that the day would come where we see Arab culture depicted with truth and sincerity, but the developers are willfully ignorant. I can't bring myself to go to the forums to try and speak out against orientalism anymore.

A GPose of my Warrior of Light, Sinna Aogane, with her surrogate brother’s partner named Mönkhbat Malaguld. Sinna is a tan-skinned Raen Au Ra with black hair tied up. She is laying on her side on the grassy Azim Steppe plains, and it is nighttime. Mönkhbat is a green-tinged half Xaela, half Raen Au Ra with purple hair. Mönkhbat’s exposed arm has scales resembling those of female Au Ra. The two of them are facing each other. Mönkhbat has a hand clinging onto Sinna’s wrist. In the lower left corner, there is a screenshot of text reading “I have seen deer split open on the road and thought”…

Another angle of the previous picture, a close-up of Sinna’s face where she lays. She has an empty, expressionless look to her, and her hand in Mönkhbat’s grasp is slightly lifted off the ground. She does not pull away. In the upper right corner there is a screenshot of text reading, continued from the text prior, “that’s exactly what those soft and gentle fuckers deserve.” As if reflecting Sinna’s thoughts, commonly angry as her pre-ARR self.

A close-up of Mönkhbat’s face. He wears a similarly empty expression like Sinna, and we can see his eyes, adorned by black markings. In the lower right corner there is more text reading “Some things happened to me in my formative years that I don’t want to tell you about but some things happened to you too.” As if reflecting Mönkhbat’s thoughts, seeing too much of himself in pre-ARR Sinna.

#sinnatsuyu that saved my soul, gifted to me by my beloved friend @silvertigo.bsky.social. it’s so incredibly serious to me

Black and red digital art of my Warrior of Light, Sinna Aogane, with Yotsuyu goe Brutus drawn by my friend Silver. Yotsuyu is leaning down, chin to Sinna’s shoulder, with her arm under Sinna’s. Sinna is distantly looking to the left. She has the classic red Homura Akemi ribbon in her hair, strands flowing in the wind.

a chart for your troubles. but it needn’t be said that sinna is the timeloop grief queen #sinnatsuyu | #aoganelore

A image describing Sinna and Yotsuyu’s dynamic. On the left is dialogue said by Asahi sas Brutus that reads: “Will you surrender to anger, then? Slay an anointed emissary to avenge a fallen foe?” Below that are lyrics to Equilibrium by Masayoshi Soken:
“That once a certainty, lost in grief
A daughter’s desperate cries, unheard pleas
Forsaken, beaten, tried, on her knees
A prayer passes from her lips
Into her soul the Goddess whispers”
Below it is a picture of Homura Akemi and Madoka Kaname. Beneath it is dialogue said by Yotsuyu goe Brutus that reads: “Oh, I mean not to reproach you, but to praise you! You’re a survivor, samurai. Just… like… me.” Beneath it is text that reads: “In ancient tales, higanbana were associated with other-worldly realms. In fact, higan means 'the other shore’. Higanbana were said to fall from
heaven. Another claim is that these flowers guide dead souls to the Sanzu River where they can cross to their next reincarnations. For this reason the red spider lilies are sometimes called
'ghost flowers’. They are often brought to graves to remember the dead.” Beside it is FFXIV’s Higanbana attack icon.

On the right side is a continuation that reads: “Higanbana are also known in the East as ‘the flower of the abandoned child’.” Beneath it is a picture of Sinna with Homura’s ribbon in her hair, and next to it is the yin and yang symbol with Sinna and Yotsuyu’s faces in each circle. Below them is dialogue said by the Maid from The House in Fata Morgana: “Let us be off, then. And fear not - I merely entreat you not to let go of my hand. Should you hold it tightly, you need not worry about being washed away by the waves of history. No matter what happens, you mustn't let go of my hand.” Followed by text that reads: "Ah, there you are. It intrigues me to see a woman struggle with such rage, when tradition dictates that she appear meek."
"Tradition?" the courtesan spat. "My countrymen strangle themselves with the shackles of worn-out customs and formalit…

i hardly remember the process considering it was an entire year ago but! sinna wouldn’t have her name without the hunger games. she’s technically named after cinna :) i simply liked the look of Sinna better, in turn playing a role in how her parents viewed her at birth. an entity of sin #aoganelore

the fringes is my favorite ffxiv location. ive spent the majority of my playtime over the last 10 months there. i didn’t catch onto the deep devastation in the yawn’s creation until recently - shinryu, fueled by ilberd’s blood, destroying an environment apart of the homeland he killed himself for

Stormblood’s 48th Vista Record
The Yawn
Writhing with a mysterious pink substance, this cavernous hollow was torn from the earth during the titanic struggle between Omega and Shinryu. In a bid to bring down its steely foe, the primal unleashed a beam of all-consuming light from its maw, the slightest veering of which could have been disastrous for the nearby M tribe village.
