Congestion pricing, even at a low $ intro level, has been a huge success in NYC. All US cities need it now. Waymo will be a tiny % of VMT for years. No firm timeline for any private AVs. It would be awful for drivers to think VMT fees or congestion pricing are only needed if/after AVs are common.
