Tiny Watercolour from the beginning of the year. #watercolour #traditionalart #painting

Little Watercolour Artwork of two flacons; one is tall, with a white label colored in a light to dark green gradient. The other one is smaller, with a tassel bound around the cap. Also on the picture is a branch with a few green leaves, and a teal ribbon and yellow ornaments hanging from it.

In other words, I'm alive. But no courage to post. Little time, energy and focus to draw. I feel like my work is regressing.

I thought I didn't get my watercolours out this year at all. Turns out I did this thing in January? Time rally blends all together in my head. I want to do a watercolour illustration with my new OCs 😢

Time flies by so fast, especially when life is stressful. I miss being online and seeing all your beautiful art, I also miss posting art to a degree. Doing lots of sketches and soul searching right now. Lots of ideas for new characters and new projects.... but so little time.

The cat lives in my neighbourhood and is so cute and trusting. Haven't seen her in a while, though. Hope the cutie is well 🐈

Here's a little painting of a cat. Tried Nicker Poster color for the first time with this painting. Done last year.... don't ask me when... #art #watercolor

Mil 🐟 Ort 🌿 Mil & Ort 💙 I just realized: it's kind of nice seeing these together, isn't it?

watercolour illustration of a person sitting on the floor and surrounded by different kind of foliage and leaves and big, floating fish

Portrait of a young blonde man, looking at the viewer with a serious face. Tangeld around him is a being, vaguely resembling a nautilus, but with a long tail, that winds around the neck of the young man just until the bottom of the illustration. In the background and around him are green coral-like structures, and leaves and plants, some of them looking like sea kelp.

A watercolour artwork. In the foreground is a bust illustration of a person with vibrant green-blueish hair, wearing a blue cape of some sort. Their hands are crossed in front of their chest, protectively holding a kind of magic sphere, in which two creatures, resembling fish, are swimming. Next to the head and shoulders of the person in foreground are fresh green leaves in various sizes, partly coming out of their hood. In the background is a much bigger portrait in softer colours of a young man with a serious look on his face. His eyes are green, his hair in a soft sand colour, with a braid on the left side of his face. Surrounding them both is a pair of big, greyish coloured hands and a structure that partly coils around the man in the back. It looks a lot like the body of a snake, with scales and fins that resemble organic structure. In the bottom part of the artwork, two huge olive coloured tassels frame the person in the foreground.

Was searching for something else when I found this scan of an old sketchbook page with a photo study. Still like this a lot. #art #sketch

A sketchbook page with a drawing of a young man, sitting next to a tree, wearing a jacket and a hoodie, big sneakers. Next to him is a strange looking, flying creature. On the page there are also drawings of a leg, a portrait of a young man and a one-eyed creature done in pencil.

Anyway, I was kind of full of energy and inspiration, until mentioned daily routines pulled me back into my dry adult life full of tedious obligations. I wish I could escape it's iron claw more effectively... I'm working on it.

I even got asked a few times when I'll table again. That really made me happy and definitely send me into a "What if next year..." dream-spiral for the rest of the weekend, haha. I'd really love to, and I'm sure it would be so much fun. But there's also some major points to consider beforehand.

So I was at MCC/bookfair Leipzig last weekend, and it's always so incredibly hard to get back into my daily routines. I miss my friends, I miss laughing with them and talking about the stuff that excites us, all the while being surrounded by all these creative people, comics and books.

Danke liebe Viki!!!

Sketchbook page. Done last year, in a nervous state, because it was the evening before my cat's dental. You know. I mostly made and make a lot of pretty clean art. But honestly? I love this raw, sketchy look, too. Done with marker and one of my favourite tools: Neocolor Wax Pastels ✨

Sketchbook page, a portrait of a person with long hair, their hand is on their shoulder, a fish peeks out from under their hair. The coloring is rough, unfinished. There are bold marker strokes in green, dark green and yellow, and some shading and hatching done in wax pastel, which makes the areas very textured.

The same happened to me when I saw his work for the first time last year. I was completely in love head over heels in the first seconds. I've been thinking about his work so much since then.
