If you ever say "I'm JUST using AI for THIS art element" you are treating one kind of art - YOURS - as worthy and the art of others - story boarders, writers, musicians, illustrators, etc as *worthless*. It is genuinely disgusting to do that to other artists.

Aww man, I was planning on using Ko-fi as a super easy to manage online shop to sell my comic books, now that LBM/MCC is over. :/ Does anyone have a hot tip for an online shop that doesn't support AI slop and doesn't take huge amounts of my sales? 💸💸💸

Turns out Ko-fi is blatantly allowing bots with galleries full of GAI, specifically says not to report them unless there's specific illicit depictions (the same guidelines actual art has to follow basically.) Anyone care to put a word in with me? ko-fi.com/survey

as a child I thought it was wildly unrealistic that Sims would immediately give up on all their goals and dreams if a single dirty plate was left on the ground but now that I’m an adult I understand that that was the most realistic part of the game

Took an online course about taxes for freelancers last week and going through my notes rn makes me giggle insanely.

A scribble in the margins of a notebook. A confused and tired looking face with question marks around it.

A scribble in the margins of a notebook. A person with a round face and big round eyes, looking in different directions. A squiggled line is above their head.

A note written in pen in the margin of a notebook. It says: "psychosomatically sufferin. My body thinks we're in mortal danger". Next to it is a smiling emoji with one tear and beneath it a little face that looks distressed.

A scribble in the margins of a notebook. A person who looks confused and scared with the word "fear" next to them.

65 of 74 pages sketched for Zocker chapter 9 "System Update". ✨ I really wanted to finish the sketches this month but I guess making comics is a marathon, not a sprint. At least I put in the annoying background for the last 9 pages already and can start next week with just drawing chracters! :D

Digitales Clip Studio Paint files showing thumbnails of comic pages. 65 out of 74 are marked with a pink check mark.

Finally sketching kisses again! There are few things I enjoy more.

Sketches for three panels for the comic "Zocker". Two young mean sit on top of each other on a chair and kiss, passionately leaning into each other and grabing each other's necks and shirts. The kiss is shown from three different angles.

I think my neighbors are on a schedule to make sure I am provided with fresh weed smell at all hours of the day. (The smell is not even that unpleasant to me but so pungent it rips me out of my shallow focus).

Some panels from the Zocker "Misskilled" chapter. Zockl is such a mood (for me) sometimes. I wish my life had a The Sims user interface.

A black and white comic panel in the style of The Sims game. Zockl, a black haired young man, is standing in his messy room while people are talking off screen. The user interface shows his mood is exhausted and his different needs. A text box with his inner monologue says: "If I was in a simulation I'd know exactly what I need right now."

Two black and white panels showing two young men laying in each others arms in bed in the dark. The first panel is a closeup of the blonde man's face who looks softly at the black haired man in his arms. He says: "Are you already asleep?"
The second panel is a closeup of he black haired man who has his eyes closed, his mouth slightly open and doesn't respond.

A three panel sequence in black and white. A black haired young man first looks at a cup of coffee in his hands, then takes a sip, then sticks out his tongue and says "blergh" while someone is talking offscreen the entire time.

Tiny sketchy pic of Ko and Seiji, enjoying their time together (and Pokémon) for @pushcart.bsky.social Happy birthday! X3 I'm always totally in side characters, knowing that they might not have so much more screen time in the comic. QvQ Read their story here: remembering-gale.com #sketch #OCs

Sketchy greyscale illustration, showing Ko sitting on a handrail, laughing and showing her smart phone screen to Seiji, who's sitting on the bottom edge of the handrail, his own phone in hands. Whatever is to be seen on the screen excites him.
