Back in Ipswich now, I went to mass at Kesgrave Holy Family this evening. In the small burial ground is a simple headstone for the stained glass artist Margaret Edith Rope. She has several windows in the church, a treasure trove of Rope family works. She spent the last years of her life in Kesgrave.
