1) Excelsior (all versions). Classic ship of the line. 2) Akira. Sleek, angry torpedo cruiser! 3) Vengeance. Antithesis to all Trek stands for, but damn, if she doesn't look gorgeous doing it! Very hard to screenshot in space though... (Hon. Mentions: Shangri-La, Proxima I & II, Luna, Ambassador)

This very Marauder, in fact! (Which promptly got the shit beat out of it so hard it had to forced withdraw)

The Com Guards might've got their teeth kicked in too, if not for the incorrigible Crockett! #battletech

'Bertilak', Thug THG-11E HRUNTING. Conflicting reports list this as the -11Eb Royal model, depending on the year. As the pilot's code-cipher suggests, has a fondness for decapitation. #battletech #ComStar

'Caradoc', Archer ARC-5CS CALADBOLG. Hastily refit to the Clanbuster standard for Tukayyid. Unfortunately for the Inner Sphere, it survived. #battletech #ComStar

'Leodegrance', Crockett CRK-5003-1 CALIBAN. In a unit of machines otherwise named entirely for weapons, what does the callsign of Sycorax's monster portend? #battletech #ComStar

'Galehaut', Guillotine GLT-3N CALEDFWLCH. Consistently noted as the commanding officer of the Round Table from what little comms records can be unscrambled, purely from the sound of their voice. The closest thing the task force has to a recurring presence across the decades. #battletech #ComStar

"Give a child a spotlight, unsupervised, and they'll only blind themselves. Thus, we must shield the Inner Sphere from the dangerous light of Uncheck'd Progress." - Anon., Operation HOLY SHROUD Task Force ROUND TABLE, one of the many hidden hands of #ComStar, now at Level II strength! #battletech

Get stuck in an' give it sum WAAAGH!!!, boyz! Reapa Skwadron's fighta-bommers and Dakkajets sortie for #AeronauticaImperialis, including wing panels we absolutely did NOT steal from another campaign member's Goff fightas (you can tell because there's an X through it). #WarhammerCommunity

As Operation REVIVAL wound on, Seventh Bear Striker found itself increasingly posted to shore up second-line garrisons. Their OmniMech Novas would often have to lead the way for 'lesser' Stars of BattleMechs, such as this Howler. However, even a rearline Clan 'Mech is no pushover... #battletech

Crockett, for sure. With something as basic as the missiles moving to the shoulders, it went from "eh, I don't care for it", to "I will literally buy the box this is in purely to own a Crockett" (though the rest of the Battle Level II is excellent too!).

Sierpiński’s Slammers, 2nd Battalion ‘Slammers’ Hammers’, B Company, greenin' it up! Minus the final two Demolishers of 3rd Lance, of course. #battletech

One trip to the convenience store's sticker printer later, and another MechWarrior joins the #BattleBinder ranks! Wouldn't be complete without the pin-up on the inside cover (again, courtesy of @Juan_De_Lata on the former blue bird site) #battletech

(Actually technically speaking, the merc tankers are Sierpiński’s Slammers, it’s 2nd Battalion specifically that are Slammers’ Hammers. Also, since it was a 6k BV game, my poor bloody 4/5 and 3/4 mercs were up against 0/0s and 1/1s!) #battletech

Warsmith Wolf @warsmithwolf.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Update: 2nd Battalion (Slammers' Hammers), B Company is now only two Demolishers short of a full tank company! There's also four each of alternate SRM / LRM turrets, for flexibility. Backup FDM print on the command tank wasn't perfect, but it works fine from a distance! #battletech

[1.5/2] (Also, thanks to Juan_De_Lata over on the former blue bird site, AWC has their very own in-universe pin-up! Namely the CRD-3R of Lieutenant Rayleonard Beauclair, 'Noblesse Oblige'.) #battletech

[2/2] Sierpiński's Slammers are the in-house mercenary arm of Sierpiński Armor Works, a Periphery-based tank repair and refit company. Unsurprisingly, they mostly use tanks SAW can license-build or refit - namely the humble Scorpion and the Mk.I Demolisher. #battletech

[1/2] Actaeon Warfare Contractors serve the Rasalhague as a 'contracted warfare corporation' ('merc' in safe-from-Miraborg-speak). Beaten bloodily in the Clan Invasion, they skirmished often with Ghost Bear second-line forces. Commander 'Ramlethal' Ryuusei has a thing for Marauders. #battletech

Spider SDR-5V JOROUGUMO, No.6. The fastest 'Mech of C Company's Second Recon Lance - the Sentō Yōsei, or 'Battle Fairies' - is undoubtedly their Spider. It is C Company's sixth overall 'Mech, hence the kanji 六 (roku, '6') on the left shoulder. Pilot unidentified at present. #battletech

Dragon DRG-1N SANKAKU-YARI, No.4. Shujin Katja Kusakabe is everything a Kuritan commander wants in a pilot - she follows orders, dislikes Davions, and is of course piloting a Dragon. It’s a DCMS company. There is going to be a Dragon in it. This is an Immutable Truth of the Universe. #battletech

Warsmith Wolf @warsmithwolf.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Marauder MAD-3M DAIKYUU, No.3. Shujin Alejandro Tanegashima pilots the Marik refit, for which he bears the slightly derisive callsign ‘Washi’, meaning ‘Eagle’. He serves as the lance's sniper. #battletech

Banshee BNC-3S KANABOU, No.2. Sho-ko Mifune Odagawa has one job that he enjoys very much - being the most distracting target possible. It is easy for an outside observer to assume he is the lance commander, a misunderstanding both he and his tai-i are all too willing to permit. #battletech

Cyclops CP-10-Z TENRAI. Shō-sa (Major) Taira Junichiro is a true believer in the manifest destiny of the Dragon - so much so that he will often step onto the battlefield to lead personally, to ensure that destiny is manifesting itself correctly and with observance of proper procedure. #battletech

The 6th Alishain 'Ashigaru' - or more properly, 第六アルシャイン足軽バトルメック連隊 - are but one of many frontline #DCMS 'Mech regiments. Present are three 'mechs from C Company's 1st Heavy Lance, a Spider from 2nd Recon Lance, and 1st Battalion's major, engaging in his favourite hobby - micromanaging. #battletech

If I had a nickel for every "Mercenary unit tangentially related to the FRR who love Marauders, use bone white as a primary colour, and have a Canopian on the payroll", I'd only have one extra nickel, since I already own the first!
