Without meaning to state the obvious, if what you need to give up is ultimately going to cost you more than it affords you, then you are just plugging one hole by creating another. I don't think they can do no wrong, but I do think they've done well enough to earn the benefit of the doubt.

"The way they've handled Gallagher" involved game-time decisions based on MSL's take on the lineup most likely to win. Period. To equate that with "if you want loyalty, get a dog" is just nonsense. Anything MSL and management have said has been calling Gallagher a heart and soul guy.

A few times a season, a puck takes an erratic bounce off the Zamboni door stanchion at the Bell Centre, sometimes causing goalies grief. Last night, it was the difference in a one-goal playoff game. Here's a crazy idea… maybe fix or re-engineer that stanchion so that stops happening. #GoHabsGo
