But I remember so clearly seeing the video tape for the movie on the shelf at my Dad's, brought for my Stepbrother who wasn't even into Transformers. Worse still, the little sod wouldn't let me watch it. So I waited till everyone was asleep, snuck downstairs and put it on. I loved it so much!

Despite the issues with the sound quality in our screening, I still enjoyed getting to see The Transformers The Movie on the big screen for the first time. Weirdly, I didn't see the cartoons or the film when I was a kid, my fandom came from the UK comics and the toys alone.

Glad you enjoyed it. Our screening had terrible sound. I wasn't expecting much from a 40 year old film, but the audio was only coming from the speakers above the screen. Would love to know the stuff you noticed this time as by BF really isn't interested in seeking out with me about Transformers!

But still, even if we take that into consideration and say that due to public misconception, it was known as St Stephens, the Clock Tower has only ever had 2 official names. The Clock Tower and the Elizabeth Tower.

And its this Tower that was referred to by a journalist that wrote articles called "News from St Stephens" during the reign of Queen Victoria. The assumption is that as St Stephens doesn't look like a Tower, people thought it was in reference to the Clock Tower.

Afraid not. Before it was the "Elizabeth Tower", it was just "The Clock Tower." Thats what it was on the architectural plans. St Stephens Tower isn't really a Tower, it used to be the public entrance and is attached to what used to be St Stephens Chapel, the original Chamber of Commons.

Brilliant work! Whilst the stars and the claws are very impressive, its the sheet stockings that have blown my mind! The way that you can see the continuation of the muscle shape and skin tone but the slight darkening for the fabric. Really good stuff!

I work at a place were every 4 or 5 years there is a big event that means that some of the people that use that building for their work are replaced and no longer able to use that workspace. Every time, at least 3 people try to take the antique furniture with them.

I finished Ashes of the Imperium by Chris Wraight. This the Scouring which happens after the seige of Terra has failed and the heretics are on the run. I really enjoyed this. I found it easy to follow and despite a large cast, i remembered who everyone was. #Nerdlings #BlackLibrary #HorusHeresy
