![[the serpent under it cover art, which features the still art “pomegranate photography” by vlad loktev. in this piece, there is a pomegranate roughly split into thirds, crimson seeds spilling onto the newspaper beneath. the background is otherwise black. the description of this art piece says it is digital photorealism from 2017, but to me it’s sort of giving old school vanitas painting in terms of color and texture. over the background, there is a faint, dark green snakeskin pattern, with only the pomegranate visible above the texture. at the top, in scratchy all-caps handwriting, the text reads “the serpent under it.” and, beneath that, in a crisp sans serif font, “a voldemort wins au.” in the bottom right, in much smaller font, the text reads “by ninepiecesofcrait.”]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:kpfs5bzft36aodtxo5joq73q/bafkreihbs2u4wttnsu3tk22p7h5z2l4lmjvksmxvdikbydrduezwscfmia)
