I tried the mood board thing again. I am still not good at it. I'm a Plantser, so this will change as I go. I'm working on a book set in 19th-century Iron Range Minnesota... Magic is mined, processed, and perfected at the right ratios... and no one knows what they're mining. Already used "ope."

Pablo Neruda's poem in One Hundred Love Sonnets: XVII is what we used as our vows when I got married. My husband did a verse in Spanish, I responded with the English verse. I had to share this because it is the closest to perfection a human can get.

The poem by Pablo Neruda reads: I do not love you as if you were salt-rose or topaz, or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off. I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul.
