Every afternoon/early evening, the kids and I go outside to our front yard. I'll water the gardens and then sit on our porch and watch them play together on their scooters. It's a simple ritual that I always look forward to each day.

My partner's bday is this weekend. They've been wanting farmhouse style cutting board for awhile so I went looking. They are EXPENSIVE!!! So I decided to make one myself. I went to a lumber yard, got two pieces of wood (one to practice on), sanded it down, and now I'm sealing it with oil and wax.

We have a resident possum the recently found a way into our roof. We booked someone to come check the roof but we haven't seen/heard possum in a few days. Wildlife removalist just came to check our ceiling. Blood and possum urine everywhere along with fucking rat baits! Possum likely ate some 😭

I was a weird child. I didn't fear anything until it had actually harmed me. So, • Dogs (5yrs onwards) • Drowning (12yrs onwards) Things like the dark, bring alone, snakes, monsters, strangers etc never bothered me. I didn't learn to actually fear things until I was a teenager.

Little One turns five soon and we're having a garden party for her and her friends. Instead of party favours, I've bought a bunch of small terracotta pots that she and her friends can paint and plant some native seeds in which they can then take home and watch grow 🪴
