I have played it. I loved everything about it outside of the unforgiving loop. I don’t know what that has to do with bungie and their attitude though. And their attitude up til this week was basically begging people to give it a chance. I don’t know where you’re getting “blaming the players.”

I like the facial motion capture for speech and whatnot. I don’t really mind the faces either way, but there’s just something about animating faces that seems crazy hard in games. If they could use facial mocap with all the VAs in all the languages it’d be so cool.

I think the D3 calls implicitly include that they not do the kind of bullshit that ruined D2, like vaulting and FOMO seasonal activities. If not for those the game would probably have done much better over the years.
