OCtober doodle 5: i had no plan, and Witch Costume Amalthea somehow appeared 🧹💜 [ #sketch #art #OCtober #OCsky #OC ]

greyscale shaded sketch of my character Amalthea dressed up at a halloween-y witch, holding a broom and grinning. behind her is a very simple moon and clouds for the BG

OCtober doodle 4: Fireball would be a cool spell but also... not a lot of practical uses [ #sketch #art #OCtober #OCsky #OC ]

panel one: Martin is standing looking at his phone with a neutral expression. Nico leans into the panel with their hands clasped in front of them making a :3 face and saying, "Heeey... Master Martin? I was wondering... Do you think you could teach me some cool, flashy spells? Like... I dunno... FIREBALL or something?" (the speech balloon around "fireball" looks like fire)
second panel: Martin looks over at Nico, one eye visible behind his glasses, and raises an eyebrow saying, "'Fireball' huh? And what do you plan to use that for? Arson? Startin' a forest fire? Who or What do you want to set on FIRE?"
third panel: Nico looks like a sad droopy blob, saying, "I-I dunno... I just thought it would be kinda cool....." a tiny Martin head is attached to a word balloon saying "It's not a toy, kid. don't play with fire."

OCtober doodle 3! wanted to do a little portrait for Reel, a fae that Spin has known for most of her life. he's spent a great deal of time on the "mortal" plane, so he's tasked with helping Spin on her first time among humans [ #sketch #art #OCtober #OCsky #OC ]

waist up portrait of a young man with shoulder-length dark hair, a medium-dark skintone and reddish-brown eyes. he's wearing a light red collared shirt over a pale yellow v-neck t-shit. peeking out of his hair is a green bauble hanging from one ear. beside him is written his name "Reel" with "He/Him - Fae" underneath

OCtober sketch 2 Spin's still getting the hang of her human disguise [ #sketch #art #OCtober ]

top image: my characters, Spin and Reel. Spin is walking away from Reel and waving as she looks back over her shoulder, saying, "Gonna head out, later Reel!" Reel waves back to her, smiling and saying, "Have fun Spin, say hi to Nat for me!" "Call me if you need anything"
small insert panel: Reel noticing something
bottom: both of them kinda chibi-style. Reel is calling after Spin, "Spin. Your tail." Spin looks over her shoulder at her tail and going "Ah-! Oops!"

a few minutes late but: first messy OCtober doodle Nat's hair is long and majestic and a nightmare when it's wimdy [ #sketch #art #OCtober ]

top: a sketch of my character, Nat, with the wind blowing strongly around her, lifting her hair, scarf and jacket and blowing leaves by
bottom: much more simplified doodles of Nat and Spin. Nat's hair is a mess, and there's a not pointing to her that says (forgot to bring a hair tie) beside her Spin has her hands over her mouth to poorly hide a grin as she giggles

was struck by the desire to gift my 13-year-old self a fanart redraw of their oekaki drawing this is one of my beloved, earliest OCs, "Trance" [ #art #OC #OCsky ]

drawing of my old character Trance, a young woman with purple hair ties up in messy buns, dark purple eyes and short elf ears. She's leaning over in an extremely awkward pose with her hands resting on the borders of the image

the same drawing as previous, except it was drawn on an oekaki board when i was 13 years old. "Trance" is written on the top right corner of this one in my little baby cursive. there's a red ball under it??? i have no clue what the hell that is.

figured i should do up a quick new reference for these two since they've been on my mind again! plus a couple bonus doodles [ #art #oc #ocsky #fae ]

ref sheet of my characters Natalia Pryce and Spin. Nat is a human, she/her, 5'9" with a medium skintone and brown hair down past her butt. she has hazel eyes, glasses, and a very curvy build. a note points to her and says "just a normal person." Spin is a fae, she/they, whose human disguise is 5'0", with pale skin and very light blonde hair pulled into a messy ponytail. She has dark blue eyes and a notably teal-coloured tongue. On her shoulders and sides are dark black-blue spots, and around her upper arms and thighs are thick bands of the same colour. a note points to them and says "bad at hiding fae markings"
beside her is a small blue silhouette about the size of her head with a note saying "actual size compared to human disguise on the left"
below the silhouette is a zoomed-in look at her true form: a blue, dragonfly-like fae creature with four translucent dragonfly wings, a long tail, and markings similar to those described on her human form.

Nat and Spin going for a walk. Spin is holding onto Nat's arm and grinning up at her. Nat is looking down at her, grinning sheepishly and blushing.

b/w sketch of Spin and Nat. Nat is concentrating on her phone and furiously typing. Spin is pressed against her back with her head on Nat's shoulder, peeking at the screen.
spin: "what are you even doing on that?"
nat: "...someone's interpreting my favourite character in bad faith on the internet..."
spin: 'oh shit, get 'em."

only one episode into Narrative Declaration's Whisperwood and i'm already in love with the whole cast and HAD to draw the bit where John picks up Brassbuttons like a claw machine [ #art #narrativedeclaration

five-panel comic of Fivetail's character John Person, and VeggieBLT's character Brassbuttons from the Whisperwood Narrative Declaration campaign.
top panel: John leaning down and reaching offpanel
second panel: BB running forward with his weapon raised
third panel: John's hand descending from above toward BB's head as he continues to run
fourth panel: John raises BB up to eyelevel, with BB's legs still kicking wildly like he's running
fifth panel: John says, "Wait for the circle. Remember?" and BB stops running and smiles (even though he's still holding his weapon up) and says, "oh yeah...!"

oh my god i went back to look at my old FatT and Marielda art and forgot this was one of the first times i drew myself as an owl back in 2017 i still love you, Samol. still weird you ate those people, tho.

old borderless "comic" of my Owl 'sona, wearing headphones and drinking bubble tea, chillin and listening to the marielda soundtrack.
image one, eyes closed. thought bubble: "aw man, i love Samol. he's so great, what a good character."
second image, eyes still closed, sipping the boba tea
thirs image, eyes closed but concerned eyebrows appear as they chew the boba, with a thought bubble that says "...weird how he ate all those people that one time, tho..."

super fast comic i was possessed to draw during this week's Umineko Friday stream at @fivetail.bsky.social 's [ #art #umineko ]

sketch of Battler Ushiromiya and Beatrice from Umineko sitting at a table. Beatrice is behind a D&D-style dungeon master screen, with Battler sitting at the table around the corner in front of a character sheet. the table has a map with little pieces on it that look a bit like Shannon, Kanon, Kinzo and Battler. Battler is looking down at the table with an upset expression saying "Shit... OK, who is it that's dead in the room?"
Beatrice looks up at him and smiles saying, "Roll perception."

Battler sits up, looking over at Beatrice angrily and shouting, "Percep-?! BULLSHIT!! They're my family, I should be able to tell?!"
Beatrice looks up at him, unimpressed

Beatrice looks smug, raising her hands from behind the screen, cupped together and shaking with "shaka shaka" onomatopoeia behind them indicating that she's shaking die. Battler looks angry and confused.

Beatrice is grinning viciously and going "ihihihi" as she drops the die from her hand onto the table behind the screen. Battler is leaning back with his hands over his eyes, screaming, "HAD YOU NOT EVEN DECIDED?!?!"

tryin' out new style stuff so of course, Ama was my test subject [ #oc #ocsky #art ]

a waist-up drawing of my character Amalthea, who has pink skin, long purple hair and three eyes. he right eye is open and looking at the viewer, and the other two are closed. on her head she has two horns that curve back over her skull, and floppy goat-like ears. she's wearing a long-sleeved dress with a cut-out across the chest to show her cleavage. the background is a rough image of a night sky with clouds and stars, and a couple like... squares to give the impression of buildings
